| I am excited about this arc. There were some boring parts during the whole chef arc. I like the mermen and their utter ruthlessness. |

| I liked the way Nami saved Zoro from drowning End of Volume 8! |
| Nami's actions now give me a clearer picture of where she stands. She's trying to survive, and free Bellemere as well. Also, has seemingly formed a somewhat emotional bond with Luffy and crew. |

| Pretty sure Nami's parents (foster) were killed by Arlong or smth and she's trying to survive by working for them. |

| nami is playing double agent here, maybe possibly triple agent? it's obvious that her real loyalties lie with the crew and that her morals are good, i look forward to seeing in this arc why she's playing undercover agent with arlong's crew |
| I knew Nami wasn't bad! her plan all along was to probably become close to Arlong and betray him. I also liked how Zoro tested if Nami truly was bad by seeing if she'd save him. Also Arlong is such a bad person, making humans pay to live and if even one person doesn't pay the entire village gets killed... |

| This has been an exceptionally smooth introduction to another grand location. All of the lore and characters create a very compelling situation right away without compromising what we've already read. Fantastic stuff! Zoro testing Nami's character by jumping into the water was obviously the best moment of the chapter, and really solidified their reintroduction into the story despite the length of time they've been away. |
| Oh man, this arc is going to have a really big scope! I'm excited with all the various locations and our crew in different regions of the area. Looks like Nami isn't doing this on her own volition. |
