One of the best episodes of this series! Had so much in it. Pure awesomeness. Oar's rampage and then the back to back attack from Shichibukai were awesome. One of my most favorite moves of the series 'Ursus Shock' was awesomely animated

If I had to choose 1 shichibukai to have sex with, it would be Doflamingo.

He's THAT awesome.

And Boa would most likely turn me into stone.

Hmm nice Boa fight, especially the spinning kicks. Poor Oars Jr, his love his hat that symbolizes friendship, we all know that already.

Doflamingo really is at time creepier than Kuma it seems, I used to think Mihawk was creepy but compared to those 2. I dont know if he is the strongest, but up to date he has the highest revealed bounty in One Piece, 340 Million I think it was, so that saying something at least his threat value.

first half was good, but the rest with the giant was really stretched out. No need to make it that emotional for some giant we've hardly seen before.

It's never been said anywhere what kind of power he has. But we know he can control people by moving his fingers like a puppeteer does + he can slice of limbs.
So ye a wire is the obvious conclusion one can make.

Yeah some magical invisible wire or something. What kind of fruit will give such ability? Really strange.

BTW never knew that a hat was worthy enough giving your life for, with suicide attempts?

^rofl he was a damn monster =)) that hat thing probably was the nicest thing someone gave him in his entire life.. ofc he will take that to his heart

tho this is only a mini side story.. just to make this 'war' arc more interesting and longer ( plus this way the giants were removed.. Oarz was basically invented to fight the giants)

Now that I wanted to vote 4 out of 5, I get a troll Poll, much more troll that the FMA:B trolling.

This episode was much better than 465 and 463, in one episode they show a Character from the beggining to almost his death in just one episode and still it's really pitty.

Still far away from awesomness, because of the pacing that was a bit slow, but we are used to it.

Good episode though i still don't get why someone just doesn't kill ace. If he hasn't been freed yet that means there is still marines in between him and the pirates...someone could kill him

Holy crap! Heart breaking episode :-( Just within 2 episode, I already regarded Oars to be a lovable character.. but Doflamingo just had to go overboard :-( I was in shock with the "leg slicing".. really brutal..
Other then that great episode as always.. some Kuma and Hancock action is always appreciated :-D

Hancock is the coolest OP lady. Man, those moves! *o*
Not even Robin can top her imo.

We also got a bit more of Doflamingo this episode as well- I've always thought his DF was something to do with controlling peoples bodies...but seeing as though he lopped Oars' leg off, it must be some sort of invisi-string or something lmao XD

Didn't expect to get emotional over Oars and his hat, but hey I don't know what to expect anymore tbh

This episode got to me. Wow. It's clear why Ace doesn't want everyone he loves to fight for his sake, one of his friends is already dying in front of his own eyes quite brutally. Not only is it the grunts dying but everyone he personally knows is risking their lives for him and quite a few ought to die in this battle. It's a tragedy that Little Oars Jr wasn't able to pay back the gratitude he felt for Ace making him that hat. That must have been a big deal to him...

The second I saw Oars walking through the sea I thought, well Kuma just has to teleport to him and teleport him away. Yet, unfortunately Kuma is known as the ruthless tyrant who sold himself to the world government if I recall correctly, as in he's the one who surprising follows orders the most. He has been given reason to keep the Straw Hats around twice now which we don't fully understand but I suppose this proves he doesn't have any reason to help Oars stay around. His cruelty that he's known for came out as he annihilated his insides. Before that occured I had been thinking that we've seen Kuma ask about Ace and go against the government before so he may be on our side here. I'd say that attack along with the cruelty involved quite clearly showed he's all out against Whitebeard.

The way Whitebeard responded to Oars with saying he never changes and trying to get all the cover he can for Oars was sweet. He's a captain and a friend of these people, they know him well and that came across. At least his downfall wasn't for nothing, sure the Warlords brutalized him but he pushed Whitebeard's army through to the plaza and pushed the world governments defenses back. It's unfortunate it had to come at his sacrifice.

Before that I came to love Oars through his sheer coolness and love of Ace already. The way he casually shattered the swords of the giants and caught that ladies spear to punch her with his Franky arm was just awesome. And the way he dunked the boat on the giants was sweet too. I'd say he's undeniably the star to this episode to both show the horrors of the war Ace feels he has started and to show the love from Whitebeard's crew. The way he reached for Ace at the end reminded me of when Robin reached for Luffy during the Kuma encounter... D:

Some small things I want to mention, Ace learned how to make the hat in Wano kingdom. That's yet another mention of that place. Notably Zoro claimed Ryuma was 'the samurai of Wano Kingdom' so this is going to most definitely be a recurrent and important name or else it would lack these name drops. Oda's preparing us for something.

Moria showed how he's motivated to be here for his zombie army yet again, Doflamingo seems to love the chaos, Kuma is probably just on government orders at this point(perhaps for an ulterior motive), Mihawk is kind of a passive observer with a Zoro-complex to want to test himself, and Hancock is here for Luffy's sake- ready to kill every other man she has to. It's a reminder of Hancock's problematic moral view, it may be understandable why she feels the way she does but she's almost no different than Arlong with his hatred of humankind, just she has one soft spot for Luffy. Poor Hancock huh, surrounded by the government who enslaved her and men whomst she hates.

Lastly, this is a lot of bloodshed, the montage of it before Coby showed he's still not ready to put his life on the line in a battle like this before crying at his own fear was a powerful little moment. That said, we saw a lot of 'death' in Skypiea and everyone notable woke up at the end anyways.

Here's to Little Oars Jr, a brave warrior worthy of his legendary bloodline and a true friend. It's awesome that we got to see more of the Warlords in action but three of them using their overwhelming power against the big guy as he gave his all to save Ace was depressing. At least Boa's amusingly chaotic neutrality didn't leave a bad taste in my mouth.
