| In case people are still not getting it, ep 169 is out and subbed; it has been leaked a week early. Anyways; the episode was uneventful and the next few eps, in line with the story will also be uneventful flashbacks - But before we get those, it looks like we're getting filler. Why filler now? What could we possibly get out of seeing the original Team 5 training as kids? |

| Eh filler is coming up, I cant even remember how the manga chapter works during their conversation, oh well time for an anime hiatus on my behalf. At least all the purists will get to see them back when Naruto was more light hearted. Still loved Tsunades short at the end, funny. |

| It looks like I have to school these people in a critical subject on this forum so here goes: I think all of you who hate fillers are wrong. First off, it's not a filler (not even by definition), so stop calling it that. A filler has nothing to do with the story and is used to stall for time (hence, many Bleach episodes). The next couple of eps will shape the future of the show so it can only help you better understand the concept. Think of it as reinforcement for whats to come. Many spoil-seekers and manga readers (most of the spoil-seekers by the way) will tell you that Naruto as we know it is coming to an end. If that is the case, I think a few non-combat episodes are a small price to pay to keep the story going. Wouldn't you agree? |

I hope it's worth it, as shippuden fillers are abysmal and I want to hear Nagato's story. The ending comedy was good; Tsunade immitating Maya Natsume. Why were Sakura and Ino so confused by Tsunade's bust at that age? Though her chest is likely artifically created by some type of justsu, she was only a kid! |
