| I enjoyed the first epiosde so far. The action scenes are awesome so far, and the animation looks great. Looking forward to watch the next episode. |

| Normally I dont start with shows consisting of more than 26 episodes. But Souleater got so many good critics, that I decided to give it a try. And Im totally surprised. It seems to have both typical (nosebleed) and mature (bluff tactic; Dad=>moron) humor, as well as awesome fight scenes. I definitely watch some more episodes.... |

For example, there was a part where she was having some sort of tantrum, but the voice was just monotonous. Neverender said: LOL. Your loss. Nah. There's actually a pretty good series (a lot better) this season that's bound to get underrated again - Himitsu - Top Secret. I'm pretty into the serious stuff more. Perhaps that's why Soul Eater doesn't quite appeal to me like it does to the general public. Not saying anything though, just not my type of thing. It makes me miss the FMA-days of BONES. |
| its a great anime..the voices sucks a litle but not any anime is perfect, i love the artwork is so different from now a days, is a brice of fresh air, i hope it mantains to the expectations. The sexual appeal just seems a litle forced, but there is rare to find an anime that dont have any sexual appealing in some comedy moment |

| I just watched this to see what everyone was raving about. A little to much comedy for me, but the style was interesting & Soul's voice was so cool. I think imma keep watching, it was actually quite funny, but I find to much silly in anime a bit of a turn off, especially with a cool idea like this. |

| Now that was a nice first episode. ^_^ Some of the humour got repetitive very fast (mostly with Shinigami-sama and Deathscythe) but other than that I really enjoyed it. Maka's voice probably needs a while to get used to the character but I liked the voice and most of the acting and think that it fitted her well. It's also nice to hear something that sounds different. I'm not as enthusiastic about it as most of you seem to be (yet?) but I'll definitely stick around for some more episodes because it looks like this good be a very good show. |

| Finally got a chance to watch this, and I am so impressed. My first thought was that it really resembled Shaman King - maybe it's the fighting style.. but yeah. Some funny moments here and there, which I like in any anime. I'm definitely continuing it.. |

| Actually, unlike most people here, it was Soul's voice that bugged me. It as too deep, and when I read the manga I always "hear" a more kiddish voice. I'm not sure what, but what he got wasn't it. T_T Oh, well. Maka's voice wasn't amazing, but it wasn't too bad. I want to see Death the Kid now. Cause he's awesome. Lol. |

| Well, the animation's nice. I noticed a lot of shonen cliches, which were very annoying. Most of the comedy was not very funny, because it's been done to death. However, this show has got a lot of action, and I absolutely love the art style. The opening animation is great. I liked Maka's voice. It was totally out of the ordinary, and I think that's just what anime needs. We don't need girls who all sound the same. |

| finally catching up 1st episode was awesome, maka and souls seiyuu are new so i think its kinda different, but i still like them. great animation, awesome fights and a nice op i think i will stick with it. |

| Well, I watched the first episode twice now and I still think it was good~ The action scenes were well and the animation was something very different and unique. Not to mention all the new voice actors were something to look forward to. In my opinon, both Maka and Soul's voices didn't really fit each other - but as the show progressed, I got used to them. Shinigami-sama and Maka's dad were funny as usual and I can't wait for the introduction of the other 5 :) |

| i definitely love the intro and animation, and the characters are both tough and funny...it takes 99 unhealthy souls and a witch's to become a death scythe...i feel so bad that Maka and Soul messed up, but Blair was so funny-->pump-pumpkin pumpkin! |

| Wow I actually enjoyed this episode and since I enjoyed the first episode, I will continue to watch this series. I must say I got really entertained with this one although Maka's voice sure bugs me. It's not the usual voice you hear in an Anime, lol. Okay so the Animation is very unique, like abstract-ish. I need to watch more episodes for me to get to know what's going on since I'm a little confused right now, lol. So Soul Eater is not a death scythe? If so, then what the fuck is he? Doesn't he kill monsters already? Doesn't that make him a Death Sycthe if that's the case? Gotta keep watching I guess. What I really loved was that Blair cat girl. Oh how hot she is and her voice is very seductive too. I loved that song she sang while during the bath, LOL. Too bad Maka and Soul didn't know she's not a witch. Unfortunately, they gotta start again, lmfao. |
| I'm enjoying it so far, even though the animation is weird. I saw the end coming but I didn't see the events coming. It's definitely not the usual kind of anime I watch but it's a little inspiring. I agree that Maka's voice is unusual. |
