| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Finally it's Kidd's turn. My favorite of all Shinigami techs. As expected, this was my favorite episode so far. He thinks everything should be perfectly symmetrical is funny. The pharaoh scene was the best. Didn't really like Patty's voice. She sounded too childish.. |

| Miyano Mamoru was perfect for Kidd, his past work as Tamaki from Ouran (same director as this show) shows with this role. Quickly mixing from serious to comedic, I couldn't think of anyone else who could do Kidd better. Watanabe Akeno was great as Liz and Patty's VA suited her as well. The symmetrical thing was great fun and it was nice too see the extra stuff with the two previous teams interacting, Sid as well got some screen time. The score for this episode was pretty damn good, Taku Iwasaki is in top form. 4/5. Now the real manga starts since episode 4 = chapter 1 Extra Lessons. |

| Nice epiosde for Kid. He is definitely my favorite meister. Liz and Patty were pretty awesome too no complaints here. 5/5 cause Kid is Win. Cant wait to see the Soul Resonance in action :3. |

| LMAO! Best prologue of the three. Kidd is truly epic, Miyano Mamoru fits him perfectly. Liz+Patty = <33 BGM is great as always, but w/ a new pop music. I lol'd so hard at Kidd go berserk when he saw the mummy pretty messed up XD Prologue ends and the real story starts now. Can't wait for the next epi (^_^) |

Kidd is my favorite of them all <3 His symmetry complex is just hilarious and the Miyano Mamoru was a perfect selection for a perfect character like him =D I don't think another voice would suit him as much as him <3 This episode is gonna be my fav for some weeks <3 So of course it takes 5/5 just because it's Kidd <3 \o/ |

But I do. I'm so psyched that this is a year long series. As others have said, Mamoru's role as Tamaki totally makes for an easy transition into Kid. I think he's really in too much this season, but this is one role that I think no one but him could pull off. Ahhhh~ can't wait for next episode xD And the one after that xD And the one after that too!! PS. I don't know why I didn't notice it in the manga... but he shoots with his pinky fingers. He must have pinkies made of steel, because mine are pretty much useless aside from piano and typing... |
| His unique way of holding his guns is one of the things I love most about him ^_^. Oh, and completely unrelated, but, the way Patty says "Gomen ne" is so cute I could die. |

| This is a very good episode with the "symmetry ideology" of Kid.It was really frighten me when Kid left for the "unsymmetrical" picture because the Thompson sisters have to fight by their own with one of them turns into the gun! |

| OMG, what's up with all the drama? Why did they had to put those scenes with Soul and BS chasing around? The way they reacted was way too dramatic, especially Soul who's so "cool", and I think it's wrong they introduced Sid episode earlier... also scene that really made me irritated is Soul and BS going to Spirit to ask him about mission... like hell would Soul ever ask Spirit's help for anything short of life&death issue. Other than that, Kidd scenes were all awesome, though again overly dramatic part when he was fighting the Pharaoh... they really went overboard with all the hitting, so much it wasn't even fun anymore. And while everyone are complaining about Patty's and Kidd's va, I must say that I really don't like Liz's... I expected her to have softer voice for some reason, some that would be more in touch with her vain personality. Woot for story finally beginning in next episode!!! |

| Uh, I didn't like this episode as much as the first two. The Thompson sisters Liz and Patty were awesome, but the symmetrical stuff got old and unfunny after like 3min into the episode, imo. Regarding voice acting and ..stuff, ..stuff as in, how Kidd holds his weapons .. how the two sisters fight those mummies by themselves .. was all awesome .. but so were the first two episodes! My fav still being the first one with the cat witch and the newbie Seiyuu for Maka, I hope there'll be more of them asap! Edit: k, upon rewatching this episode once more.. most of the symmetry obsession stuff was actually pretty funny : p |

| I thought it was okay. Death was kind of funny. His guns too. I'm relieved to know that this was just a prologue though because I've been wondering what the heck was going on. ;) I guess this is what I get for not being a manga reader. |

| The first impression I had of this series when I watched the trailer was that it reminded me a lot of Gorillaz with lots of awsome fighting scenes. Black Star made me love this series even more, and so did Death the Kid. *Symmetry is the explanation of the world!!* I'm so glad that I picked up this series to work on!! XD |
