| For the first time in who knows how long, I actually felt sorry for Naruto. I guess even I couldn't ignore his pain after losing his teacher. |

| Loved this episdoe. The way they showed how others felt from Jirayas death, it made me really sad, but it was in a good way. I mean it that the idea waws passed on very nicely. I'm really looking forward to the next special, hope it will be as good as this one. |

| I really like Naruto, and I hate when he has to go through stuff like this, I mean from any character, well my favorites at least. I thought it was really sad, but loved both episodes. |

| Oh, I cried again... this was an amazing episode and I don't think they haven't moved the storyline. Jiraiya was a very important character so his death meant to be mourned in a special not just in one episode. Shikamaru was great again and we got to see Kurenai too ~so nice~ |

| The manga was able to progress very quickly through this part of the story.(That's quickly by Naruto standards...lol) I really hope the anime does the same because I can't wait to see a lot of this upcoming stuff animated. I've gotten my hopes up with the anime before and have been left disappointed...but hopefully this time I won't. Other than that, that was a pretty sad couple of episodes. It seems like the past few episodes have been really well put together. I thought the ending of 151 was amazing and then 152-153 were great, too. Now, if they can just change that damn violin bg music. |

| An emotional and well-edited episode, I felt the flashbacks were chosen carefully and included at the right moments. For in reality, Naruto would remember moments like that when thinking back to the time he spent with Jiraiya. So as well as reminding us of their close relationship, it serves the double purpose of accurately follow his thought patterns. On another note, there was an excellent speech from Shikamaru! He continues to be the quiet inspiration in this series. I felt Raikage-sama's voice felt a bit off, but I'll wait until we hear more from him before deciding. 4.5/5 |

| I liked this episode, it had a couple of funny moments. but now everything's getting back to normal, and to soon find out what those numbers in the message meant. |
