| I am looking forward to naruto training! D: Jiraya death is sad, but the earlier version with Tsunade was most sad. Where the toads delivered his death for the first time. (Or was this in the manga?). Sux if they removed that scene :S Cant quite remember. This is not a spoil, its the past. But perhaps removed from the anime, cant remember. :/ |

| What's with that Hotaru/Utatakata (or whatever his name is) arc? They moved into it smoothly enough, now it's just over without an ending? I kept thinking the idea of the super nuke jutsu being entrusted to some little clan was silly and that the constant flashbacks of the guy's past made it seem like filler, but Akatsuki showed up and he was a tailed beast, then Naruto's suddenly in bed being depressed about failing to get Sasuke? Was that mere filler after all? |
| I remember shedding manly tears when I read the chapter with Naruto crying on the benches. I braced myself on this episode, and I didn't cry. |

| This was trully a sad epsiode and I really liked it, but since when you put the opening theme at the middle of the episode? I mean, it took 9 minutes for the initial presentation... too long! |

Was that mere filler after all? Yes that whole thing as filler but Utakata is a character of the real story also since his a tailed beast. Narutro unlike Bleach connects the fillers with the story making them part of it in some way. The filler had an ending but you obviously didn't noticed. That secret techinque was lost and is no longer in the girl Utakata accepted to be her master and Naruto left them all happy and good to go back to Konoha. We only saw about 100 flash backs of Itachi saying that when you kill the most precious person to you and you are powerful enough you can awaken the Mangekyo. That's Sasuke Mangekyo sharingan. The shape is of no importance. Every Mangekyo has different shape depending on the person. And people didn't comment on it because they already saw quite a few episodes back when you guys where obviously asleep. He even used the damn thing about in two different occasions. In what universe was your brain when you watched that? |

| Poor Naruto., :\ I was wondering when they were going to tell him about Jiraiya. But Now the show is about to get better than ever., Naruto is gonna want to go after Akatsuki, and Sasuke is going after the Hidden Leaf Village. Im excited for this. ^_^ |

I know they have to bring people back up to speed, but a bit too much recap for my taste. Other than that it was just a sad episode, having to realize that Jiraiya won't be in the show anymore. |

| So many amazing characters lost along the way in this series... :| Guess it's what makes "Naruto" so great, but it is really sad... As this episode was. I can't imagine how hurt Tsunade must be as well, though, especially since she probably feels like she's partly responsible for Jiraiya's death by not doing more to stop him when she seemed to honestly feel that he was going to his death when he left. At the same time... I don't think she could have stopped him... Augh Naruto's just a bit insensitive when he himself gets shaken up, angry, or sad, isn't he? At least this episode shows that he really did look up to and really care for Jiraiya. :'( |
