I would have liked to see more Kaiji arcs adapted, at least 2 more because this anime deserves it, but at this point it's almost impossible.

I wish Claymore had a complete adaptation. I know, I know, it has anime original ending, but honestly, after the manga was finished, it shouldn't have been a problem to just make another season that'd continue from the last moment where the original anime followed the manga or something.

Too bad that Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas most likely will not receive more seasons. At least not in the nearest future. Season 1 and Season 2 were really fun and looked so good.

Oh there's loads of them... but these two jump to mind:

https://myanimelist.net/manga/14790/Magi and https://myanimelist.net/manga/55163/Gakkougurashi

And while I don't know whether it would be anything like good, I do have a morbid curiosity about what a full adaptation of Vampire Hunter D would look like lol

Baby Steps. Only the first 19 volumes have been adapted in 2 seasons (the manga itself has 45 volumes). It could've been one of the greatest sports anime of all time and I'm not exaggerating.

Only considering manga that are complete or in eternal hiatus, since ongoing manga still have a little bit of hope of getting a new anime season:

Chihayafuru
Nana
Mashiro no Oto
Dagashi Kashi
One Outs

Mashiro no Oto in particular, since it's singlehandedly carried by the musical performances so there's no point reading the manga (and even if I wanted to, no one translated it).

@Adnash i totally agree with Claymore, there should have been an ending that followed the manga, i would love it.

Shounen Onmyouji only adapted the first 7 of the 56 LN volumes, I really wish it would have adapted more but there's no hope for this series at this point specially given that the LNs are in haitus.

I'm still hoping that Akatsuki no Yona gets a complete adaptation once the manga ends.

Edit: Just found out that Akatsuki no Yona manga ends this December, now give me a full adaptation!

Medaka Box stopped right at the introduction of the best character and arc of the entire series...
Hitman Reborn has 2 unadapted arcs that I feel like they could've eventually gotten around to animating but at this point it's too late I'd imagine.
Kaiji and Akagi should've gotten more seasons, especially Kaiji, what a great series!
Baccano not getting anything except the 1 season and ova has me baffled.
Gunsmith Cats getting a full adaptation would've been great.
Cautious Hero getting a few more volumes animated would be nice but it's already been what, 5 years and nothing seems in the works.
No Game No Life was very good, got a movie (at least it was canon) and...nothing since

@Adnash Claymore needs a complete re-boot at this point. I have the two obvious answers: No Game No Life & Deadman Wonderland.

@yuurei_tokyo The part we saw is basically an ad for the Manga. The story is just starting. This is the other one I think of when this topic comes up.

@Sheol01 glad I read manga for this immediately after finishing, which is very rare for me as I am lazy.

Would love to see Berserk get a full adaptation. Still keeping my fingers crossed for more Vinland Saga, but every year that passes without any sort of announcement has me a little more worried.

I also really enjoyed Gangsta. Would have liked to have seen Devil is a Part Timer finished as well.

Many.

Some are multiple decades old. Some are only from within the past year or two. Based on that (age) and popularity as well as all the behind the scenes minutiae governing such decisions, the chances for some are dismal and near-impossible (but I'll never say literally impossible and definitively never happening) whereas some by contrast are quite likely.

- Kenpuu Denki Berserk
- Noragami
- Usagi Drop
- The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
- Aku no Hana
- Kodomo no Jikan
- Hyouge Mono
- Centaur no Nayami
- Petshop of Horrors
- Flying Witch
- Hyouka
- Hakumei to Mikochi
- Vinland Saga
- Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash
- Gakkougurashi!
- Beautiful Bones - Sakurako's Investigation
- Black Lagoon
- Somali to Mori no Kamisama
- The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace
- Urasekai Picnic
- Tengoku Daimakyou
- So I'm a Spider, So What?
- AI no Idenshi
- Majo no Tabitabi
- Housekishou Richard-shi no Nazo Kantei
- Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road
- Handyman Saitou in Another World
- The Fable
- Raise wa Tanin ga Ii
- Houkago Saikoro Club
- Kyoto Teramachi Sanjou no Holmes

And others still I'm sure that I'm leaving off.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

The anime covers most of the best parts, but "Dissociation" and "Surprise" are something to look forward to. A new member joins the Brigade, and Kyon discovers a rival brigade led by his friend from middle school.

This went downhill just a couple a volumes after the point the anime reached, so i dropped it.

Kodomo no Jikan

The anime did change a character that I wasn't a fan of, but if they would of actually finished adapting it? Would've been the most based ending ever. Nowadays I would not trust the anime being touched by any studio, so best to let it lie.

Funny thing, I watched a You Tube video last night that covered this very topic.
I had almost completely forgotten Grimgar. Yeah, an Isekai where everything pretty much sucks or at least as a very realistic power scale was a great idea. Too bad as the video noted it came out at the same time Konosuba & another big Fantasy show were airing. Completely overshadowed so it never got the attention it deserved. So, we'll never see the Anime' continue.
I don't think there are any plans on Noragami at this point, even though the best part of that was just about to start. Another problem is studios running out of money & shutting down on some of these shows.

@WaterMage Yeah, that's because the newest installment of Kaguya-sama is fairly recent while the others are pretty much ancient at this point, lol. It's quite sad that the anime of Kaguya-sama was going so strong and they suddenly decided... just not to continue it.

I remember back in 2022 when there were constant rumors of a 5th Season of High School DxD. At this point? Looks like rumors is all they really were.
I already mentioned that Claymore needs a reboot & then a full adaptation, like Spice & Wolf is getting ( Which used to be on these lists!).
I don't think there is enough interest in either Darwin's Game or Battle Game in 5 Seconds for those shows to get any more seasons.
Besides No Game No Life, the one on Y-Melly's list that interests me the most is Deadman Wonderland. They really left us hanging on that.

Actually, there are tons of shows but these are just those that really stand out.

As much as I'd love for Lost Canvas anime to return, I doubt it. Been 16 years now, and as far as I'm aware, no season 3 confirmation. If anything, we are more likely to get a Next Dimension anime since the manga recently ended.

Though I admit I would like to see Serafina be adapted into anime.
