I would also like to see more reverse isekai overall or at least some more series where characters often travel back and forth between our world and the other world. Also perhaps more isekai where the main character world of origin is not ours (like in Chillin' in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers). |

| Idk why Isekai needs "fixing" they are already satisfactory enough.. I would just love continuion and complition of my favourite ones and revival of something like NGNL. If I have to give ideas.. -Isekai based on western cultures like sub saharan africa or asian cultures(except chinise & japanese). -Actual romance isekai fanatsy as main plot (non harem) Also maybe something like this (ded manga) - Also just meta unapologetic self aware power fantasy never stop being entertaning. |

Seaon 3 of By the graces of the gods Seaon 2 of In the Land of Leadale Season 2 of Sasaki and Peeps Season 2 of Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 of Black Summoner Honestly I want second or third season of my favoirte Isekais. Yes yes I know you ALL HATE isekai same generic shit but to me they are the anime´s I love the most the anime that makes me happy. Im 40 years old and I love these Isekai´s becuse they make me happy and feel good they are what I dream about allot a world where people are mostly kind to each other. I mean take by the grace of the gods most people in that anime are mostly kind and happy and no focus on war or drama. Seeing how the real world are today the hate that goes around the wars that we have yeah I dream about being Isekaied to a world just like by the grace of gods or in the land of leadale. So yeah hate how ever much you want on does anime but they are what makes me not just wanna lie down and die. |

| @WaterMage as i said "not for me", the style of most isekai is itself feel uninspired to me, the bright contrast color art style doesn't appeal to me anymore. Also, mediocre character writing and overpowered protagonists almost presents in all of them and these two are nothing new in that aspect, eminence is even worse because it involves chuunibyou bs. |

| I would like more Sci-Fi isekai, or worlds that are radically different... maybe someone reincarnated in something like the Warhammer Universe. And also, something that would be nice, is someone be reborn in a fantasy world, with all its dark shit, like slavery and absolutist monarchies, and feudal lords, and the MC be like: - "Fuck this! I am gonna change things here..." The titles would be something like: "Bringing emancipation to a barbaric fantasy world!" Or, 'I was brought to this world by the Goddess to defeat the Demon Lord, but I decided to instead spread a Marxist revolution!' or 'The King summoned me to save his Kingdom... I brought democracy instead!' or 'I was reincarnated in a Harem Isekai with hot elf girls! I decided to teach feminism!' Something like that. I just hate how so many MC in Isekai, go to a world with slavery and be like - 'Ok, gonna by myself a slave, but threat her nicely...' Why would someone born in a world without slavery be so accepting of it? |

| There is extremely good donghua right now airing called mortal journey to immortality. It's about a normal person cultivating to immortality and having to face various challenges to get stronger. It's very realistic in terms of character progression - becoming stronger. Storyline actually revolve around serious issues such as when you get stronger you automatically will live longer than your brothers/sisters/parents/friends and so when you cultivate to higher level you need to let go of your family and desires/emotions you may had before so that you would be able to move forward. I don't think there is japanese anime that would be around this specific topic especially fantasy - isekai with even as half deep storyline as what i mentioned before. |

| more unique settings and worldbuilding. maybe something more sci-fi than fantasy for a change of pace. Or an isekai that's survival horror-y. Like instead of being teleported into a fantasy medieval civilization they wind up isolated in a strange world, or put into a different world's post apocalypse. |
I thought it was axed tbh. But entering a manga world (non fantasy) seems good. |

| I'd like more where the protagonist is actually happy in their current life, and the sudden teleporting to another world is something he wants to escape. I'm getting sick of miserable office workers, or neets who get transported, and it's a new start for them, and chance to be happy, to do things over again, to remake themselves! Nah, I want someone who has a life they desperately want to get back too. Preferably not being overpowered, so every day feels like s struggle for survival, as they try to figure out what happened, and how to get back. |
