| It's back and it bought the cooking with it! 5 minutes in and already, they made a new dish. Sui and Fel are still by Tsuyoshi's side. The OP song is catchy imo. I'm impressed by the hand making skills tbh. He made those dumplings look so easy. Episode is pretty chill in general, with a very similar vibe to the previous and adventure themes. |

| After nearly 3 years, MAPPA's Peak Isekai is back with novelist Ren Eguchi's cooking Isekai series. and it continues to get better! CENT's OP is alright, pretty much similar vibes as Van de Shop's Season 1 OP. It's nice to see Mukohda, Fel and Sui back at their usual antics with embarking on quests and making food out of monsters that fuel the familiars both the same with spider gyoza in the Claire forest...though what's a dragon doing there in secret? Sure enough, like Fel and Sui, it's enticed by Mukohda's food, and wants to form a contract with him, so Dora-chan it is, though he's the reason of why the tarantulas are attracted to Mukohda and the gang. Enquiring with the guildmaster further about information regarding the pixie dragon, and his job done with exterminating the horde of tarantulas, the burly dwarf sure is shocked, but not so. And shopping around the Spinning city of Claire, some new high-quality clothes and textile goods are expected, but so too is good food, in this case, the venom tarantulas' feet meat which are cooked to the likeness of snow crab meat, delicious in all regard, that sums up a day's worth of effort. However, Mukohda's item box having quite the dragon carnage from Fel, and the guildmaster sending him and the familiars their way to the Dungeon City of Doran, it's another adventure in the making alright! chelmico's ED is subtle rap, yet comically playfully and stylish. A return to form, here's cheers to more rewarding adventures, made to good food! |

| Mukoda, Fel, Sui, and Ninrir are finally back! I have missed them so much. :3 And of course, all the delicious looking food as well. Dora is a great addition to the group. Funny and wholesome start to the second season. |

| Sui is soooo cute. Everything she does is adorable. New familiar alert! 0: This little dragon seems to quickly make friends with the gang :D. I really want gyoza now. Remembering season 1, I made sure to have something to eat while watching this episode. The guild leader seemed to eye Dora-chan weirdly when talking about the dragon expert... I bet he's gonna go crazy when he sees our new pixie dragon friend. This new season is starting off well. |

| Nice to see Takopii’s twin back! And well, I guess the other two are here too. Actually make that three now, first episode back and already a new familiar for our boy. More families to feed, I suppose. Not like season one was anything amazing, it was just fine, and this seems about the same. Props though, this is one of those shows where you don’t really need a recap since not much happens, and thank god for that. I barely even remembered our main guy’s name, let alone what actually went down last time. For a MAPPA show the credits don't look too bad yet, glad to see the rotoscoping is still as good as it was in season one at least. |

| Nice first episode for the return of the sweet and fun (and mouth-watering) show. It was amusing to see the MC banters around with his two familiars, then adding a third one (with a personality in line with his first two ones). |
| Sui-chan is seriously too cute and Fenrir is majestic as ever. And now, we’ve got a pixie dragon in the mix, that’s going to make our weekly gourmet more entertaining for sure. God darn, crab’s so freakin good though (even though technically it wasn’t crab, lol). Dragon expert (and possible obsessor) coming up next? I wonder how Earth dragon meat will look like, lol. ED was a bop and the Op felt very similar to S1’s from what I remember. Should be fun company. |

| Most comfy isekai is back, episode flew by fast, animation looks even better than s1, those dishes look incredible, dora-chan's already part of the gang in my book, Gotta say though in the opening there's a character that look just like the elf from Dungeon Meshi, wondered if it was a crossover for a second Wednesday Tondemo gonna carry me through fall anyhow Oh and i'm glad they kept the artistic direction of the first ending for the second one, it looks like a kid storybook and is so charming, the artist is insane ! |

| It’s been quite a while since Winter 2023, this was one of my favorites that season so I’m very happy to have it back, and they wasted no time getting us back into the delicious goodness, starting with some gyoza and spider (crab) meat, and it’s safe to say MAPPA is cooking much like Mukouda in making the food look so damn good, over here making me want to take a bite out of my screen lol. I’m also glad to see this gang again, Mukouda and his Bobby Flay skills, Fel and his appetite, and Sui’s cuteness, they’re always such a delight to watch. And this time we got a new monster friend joining in with Dora, but this one isn’t an explorer, he’s a tiny dragon that brings his own flavor of cuteness to the mix, although I find him more silly that cute personally lol, but he fits right in with the rest of the gang so I like his addition. And of course I can’t forget to mention the goddesses, Mukouda did forget them actually but I won’t lol, it’s nice to see them again too even if we didn’t get much of them in this episode, looks like there are gonna be two more gods at some point too based on the post credits bit, I wonder what wackiness they’re gonna bring to the mix. And the OP and ED were another nice pair, I prefer Season 1’s songs as of rn but the rap ED was pretty unique, I’ve only ever heard chelmico’s OP for Eizouken so it’s been a very hot minute since I’ve heard them. |

| Idk why he acts like money is an object anymore when he has a pile of gold the size of Fel in his inventory. Like dude you're as rich as a lord and getting another pile of gold is as easy as letting Fel hunt. The dragons voice isn't cute at all so here's hoping the dub voice is better. Glad to have more of this series I've lost count of how many times I've re-watched season 1 lol. |
| Really nice to see this back again, as funny as always. Now they also had a dragon added to the party. Everything is delicious in the world. The look on Fel's face when they were talking about processing the Spider meat was hilarious. I forgot about the earth dragon, will have to wait until next time to see what they do with it. |

| @HiljainenSipuli Interesting take, since I was just wondering if I would have enjoyed this episode more if I had just recently watched the first season instead of having a 2.5 year gap (can't believe it's been that long!). I mostly enjoyed season 1 because of the vicarious enjoyment of seeing other people enjoy the food you prepare. It seems like with the time gap I've lost my connection with the characters and so don't particularly care about seeing them enjoying these meals anymore. The world building and plot (or lack thereof) have always been really weak in this series, and I doubt that's going to change this season. |
| My peaceful fantasy cooking show is back baby. I'm so glad this got a second season it really deserved it. We even have a new dragon character Dora-chan to the mix. He seems to fit right into the crew. I was so preoccupied by our new character that I totally forgot about the goddesses. Looks like we'll have two new gods joining us as well for this second season. I'm looking forward to the next episode. |
| Oh... the Peak is back. Life might be good for the next twelve weeks, it seems like. Mukoda, Sui, and Feru are back, and this time around, a new familiar will join them, Dora-chan. He's a very adorable pixie dragon, and he loves Mukoda's food just like others. The dishes are just as beautiful and appetizing as they were in the previous season, sometimes even more visually appealing. Those spiders def. looked delicious after cooking them, almost like crabs. LOL. But, for now, Mukoda wants to take care of that Earth dragon soon, so he'll meet the Guild Master Elleland soon. The OP and ED are beautiful and adorable. Can't wait for more fun adventures. Also, seems like Mukoda forgot to pay the goddesses their treats for this week. LOL. And, some new gods entering the scene? Can't wait to meet them as well. |
