| Nice character development from Monica. I always try to watch this by weekly because of Monica and the Studio Gokumi's art and animations. And oh, the OP is a banger. Felt like I was watching an anime in 2010's. Rating: 9/10 |

It was overall enjoyable but uneven. I found myself really enjoying the episodes of Monica being the silent which, the action is great, but the school life episodes were plain and boring. I wanted more time and story with the other mages! The world building is nice and makes you feel each character has their own life but a lot of potential on screen character growth was missed but all characters other than Monica. I like that focus is mostly on friendship but I feel so it has been shallow. Actually the most interesting friendship/relationship was with that of her old schoolmate. I mean he has his issues but at least we saw depth and growth there.
| @Maroomz I completely agree with this. The pacing was uneven, few episodes in the middle felt like you missed an episode. Absolute peak when she is Silent Witch, confident and cool but school life with her stuttering for 13 episodes is boring. |
| I really liked this series, maybe at one point the whole "I must keep my identity secret" trope seemed a bit "overly-stretched", the plot could have been move on even without it, given the fact that probably some key characters already strongly suspect who she really is, but whatever, I appreciated every second of it, Monica is the type of MC that can carry a whole series and made every episode so funny, I think I'll really miss that "little squirrell" and hope for a S2 as soon as possible. |
| Heartwarming! I'm so glad Monica got her father's book. I'm still confused, why was her father's research forbidden? He doesn't seem to be a devious man. Why do I feel like someone was deliberately interfering? If only we got more answers on this and I look forward to a day where Monica can bring honor to his name. |

| And so we end with Monica retrieving the Starweaving Mira and spending the festival with Ike, learning his affection for the Silent Witch and retrieving a precious tome in the process. Not a bad series to end the Summer season with I suppose. It was pretty interesting and engaging, but I don't really have much to say about it. 7/10. |

| Good enough episode. But i really wish she was found out... or revealed herself to the prince somehow. even if it was some bs like drunken silent chanting or something. Oh well. Nothing can be perfect. 6.5/10 |
| I got kinda bored with this show over time, I really like Monica but the other characters didn't stand out much and it kinda felt like there were too many characters, I almost forgot who some of them were if they didn't show up for a few episodes. I'm fine with it not having much action but I expected there to be more of a plot, or more mysteries, and maybe more romance. And yeah also expected there would be some big reveal like someone finding out Monica was the Silent Witch, or finding out what was up with the prince being hinted to not really be the prince (I still don't like him much either, even though he was a little better in these last two episodes). The OP and ED songs are nice though. |

| Going into this final episode I thought it was decent until the scene where Monica and Felix were in the bookstore and she found her late father's book with Felix buying it for her, it was fantastic and touching, and elevated the episode. Also, I found it interesting that apparently Monica was being tested by Mary when the ancient magical artifact was "stolen" which explained why there was almost no security except for a locked door. The series as a whole was a good watch with a decent storyline with Monica protecting the 2nd prince but what really stood out was the high production values and some scenes with really well done animation. The worldbuilding and attention to detail were also great. The only minor criticism I have for this show is Monica being weak-willed at times, at least towards people that would target and bully her but I did notice some improvement on her part especially towards the end when she had that "date" with Felix as she was slightly more outspoken. Anyways, I enjoyed watching this and would definitely watch a follow-up if one is ever made. 8/10 |
| A great conclusion to the season and as others have said, here's hoping for a second season. I'm still not sure how I feel about the pace of this season, on the one hand it felt fine, but knowing the LNs they did skip a lot of stuff, some of which is needed so that future plot points don't feel like they're a retcon, for example, at no point did the bookshop owner touch Monica's book (I'm keeping it vague, but is important). I liked how when Monica shushed Nero in the garden at the end it mirrored Felix's expression and gesture in the first episode, showing how they have so much more in common than each realises. Obviously the music deserves special mention for being absolutely incredible, I'm not sure what my favourite track is, but it's probably "Father's Book" from the last episode. |

| An anime quite different from what I expected, but I loved it. The show ending with Ike and Monica date, that was cute, the buying book part was sweet. Overall a solid show with beautiful aesthetics and an enchanting main heroine. The supporting characters literally supported her very very well. Nobles weren't like in other shows, even a few very kind ojou sama's, Lana and Isabelle so painfully sweet lol. The combination of comedy and drama is odd at best, even though the show did each aspect very well, having both in one episode was a bit weird. Monica becoming a slapstick character in the last two episodes was hilarious she is basically surprised by everything and her reactions are gold. I would have liked deeper character interactions, but the things on screen were nevertheless quite nice. |

| What a surprise!!! When I started this anime I just said "okay that's gonna be a little cool one" finally it's not cool, it's one of the greatest of the summer 2025 ! A very nice discovery from episode 1 to 13! Monica is a very engaging person, I hope for season 2 soon to see her again! Ps : this final fight in the sky gives me a Touhou feeling that I love and I think this jewelry matches perfectly with the song Aishite Aishite Aishite by Kikuo! |

| How much I enjoyed with our dear Monica's adventures or little squirrel. Little by little, Monica won me over. At first she was the most introverted person you can imagine, after losing her father to ignorant psychopaths, really. It affected her so much that she could no longer talk to anyone. He isolated himself in a small cabin on a desolate mountain, but more than that, his heart didn't want to see or feel anyone. Silence became his only home, the only refuge for his soul. She could trust no one, not even herself. She’s undoubtedly a very strong girl. Out of pride for her father, she’s given everything she has so that when she finally reunites with him, he’ll gently pat her head like he used to when it was just the two of them. Her present is now filled with people she loves, values, and respects—and she earned it all on her own. It’s been hard, of course—too hard—but through this journey, she’s discovering what she wants to show her father, her friends, and most importantly, herself. That she can do it—by embracing her past and facing her present, so she can look toward the future with courage and joy. I really hope we get a second season. Monica deserves it. |

| Well, the last episode definitely has so much soul in it. Some very serious but heartfelt moments, like what happened in that book store. Gonna miss some of those characters as well as Rynzbelfeid's deadpan humours. She's by far my favourite person from this series. Could watch an entire spin-off based on her adventures xD. |

| I think this anime is good, but overrated. The story is bad but Monica carries the show. Wasted potential is what I'd say, they had the fantasy setting bocchi and...... made like no use of it whatsoever. Bummer. 6.5/10 |

| Monica did so well with restraining the magic item. I initially thought Louis was being bothered by it via trashtalking, but it was actually aggressive love professing. I am a broken record at this point, but I love Ryn. I wonder if she is buying her own books or someone supplies it to her? Who influenced this contract spirit to get fixated on romance fiction so much hahaha I am so happy for Monica for being able to find her father's book. The bookstore owner/writer is his friend? :O Ike is shown to be really gentle and caring for Monica, and I want to see more of his POV. It looks like he is seeing himself (or the friend he talks about? Hm???) in Monica, and he is being saved by her in way too? Not them renting a brothel room to nerd out. I love them LOL. Thinking back to the episode of going to Professor's Macragan's class, was the prince internally shouting "Yes! Praise the Silent Witch more!" when the professor was talking about Monica's achievements? Hahaha. It is very interesting that the prince who said he does not have magic abilities is so interested in magic. I am sorry Monica. I will replay that going drunk/crawling to bed/is it the death penalty last scene many times. Very cute and hilarious. Pls make this a signal to not drink while in the presence of others w. She's having paw withdrawals, someone save her. Ike should meet Neko though. But pls spare me a minute to go AAAAAAAA Ike putting the necklace on Monica on her sleep and her realizing it upon waking!!! AAA I love that trope! + saying it's for his own satisfaction! Please remember Ike who you had fun with! Very interesting words, if I may say Thank you for the Cyril crumb at the end. The montage is making me crave more. A second season would be so great, but I plan to check out the LNs too. |

| Really fun anime, it's just nice seeing Monica being able to stand up for herself and fight for her shyness. Definitely would love to see more of the Silent Witch. |
