I find this kinda funny, mostly because of this guy Arthur not trusting people anymore. Now he has a bodyguard named Marie by his side, even though Marie herself is strange. Yeah, don't let that pink hair and look fool you. She's a badass. I noticed this anime also adds some humor with the overexaggerated emotions at some frames. Going to be an amusing season to see how their life will be like. |

Mangaka Aki Akimoto's series about a human master-robot maid relationship, this is really pushing the rom-com formula to its limits alright. Harutya's OP just seems kind of meh... The master of Arthur Louis Zetes, stringent to all of his subjects, all but the robot maid of Marie Evans, which he absolutely dotes on her in private. Her "creation" for someone who can serve the master, but someone who also has a human heart in her monotonous cover-up towards everyone, though her antics are questionable at best...all but to Arthur, whom she swores fealty to protect his livelihood. And certainly, amidst the kidnapping of Arthur from the work of nobles in an abadoned house, he's at least prepared in instances like this for rescue, which is where Marie comes in to release him from the thugs who did the dirty work. However, even with that and the presence of fire, Marie choosing to bare her true feelings to Arthur and save his life before hers, even if they're mechanically fabricated. Nao Toyama's ED here is good, so much better than Kakuriyo's Season 2 OST. A mere rom-com like this, shall give it another chance to prove itself more. |

Though animation (and plot) is kind of cheap, it's not so bad as a romance comedy. If the ED is recitation only, it would be better. |

Not bad! It may not be a world-beater, but the main characters are pretty nice. 6-7/10 maybe. |

The premise reminded a little bit of one Korean drama. But in general, it is cheap animation with nonsense plot. I won't waste my time. |

I'm glad this is pure comedy instead of serious shoujo romance. it's pretty fun and the ED theme is really good. |

It's fortunate Arthur is so convinced that Marie is mechanical that he arranged for her to "reboot" in a bed with a change of clothes. This premise is oozing with so much charm. |

Started watching this 'cause the plot is similar to the K-Drama 'I'm not a Robot' and I loved the first episode. It was wholesome. The op is so beautiful 💖✨ The main difference between the two shows is that Mari here can kick some serious ass. Loving her expressionless face and inner monologues. We have got another expressionless girl this season after Kashiwada-san and we have got another Robot anime this season airing on the same day as this 'Alma-chan wants to be a family.' |

I feel like there isn't enough comedy for the amount of suspension of disbelief needed. |

Don’t even blame the brother for running or the team for censoring that smile, because if it was anything like the one we saw near the end, then too much of it would’ve been too much sweetness for the human subconscious. Fun enough start, pretty sweet too. Glad they didn’t go with the “she’s a robot” route and instead made her just pretending to be one. Those robot romances are getting a bit too weird and oversaturated for my liking, so this is a nice change of pace for sure. |

Pink haired cutie voiced by Nao Touyama, I'm eating well with this one. First episode was pretty good! The freaking contrast between the two sides of Arthur, not that I can blame him with this family life... While she is not a true robowaifu (a weakness of mine, I get you Arthur), Marie sure applies for one nonetheless, girl actually caught up to a car, nailed the high-speed landing after being shaked off, kicked those goons' asses and survived a fire with only a minor scratch. Also shout out to the "iron" legs of hers LMAO. |

It seems to be one of those animes where everything is very superficial, we can't get attached enough to the characters to the point of feeling what they feel. It reminds me, in some aspects, of the K-drama I'm Not a Robot. The anime doesn't seem to have such an innovative and extraordinary plot, but it will be fun to watch. It will probably be an average 6 |

The relationship aspects were pretty rushed for a first episode and ended up feeling awkward, but it was an overall fun watch with the over-the-top assassination shenanigans and crazy totally-not-a-robot terminator tenacity chasing cars, etc. |

This adaption is heavily modifying and skipping parts of the manga so far, so please read it if you're at all interested in the premise. The first chapter is 39 pages, but the studio has skipped, I believe 3 pages, and heavily changed about 14, with more minor but still noticeable modifications being done to 4. The biggest blow from these changes is towards Arthur as a character and the relationship development itself. Most of the changes are in the dialogue and how the events actually went down, often removing the main point of said scenes. |

A rather cute little show. I cannot blame Arthur, if I grew up with a family like THAT, I wouldn't trust anybody EITHER. LOL |

Seems pretty cute so far. I kinda hole they won't keep her disguise as a robot up the whole time, but I'm sure it will be that way, oh well. My favourite part was probably the internal dialogue between the brothers. |

Okay… I don’t even know where to start, but to be honest… out of all the first episodes I’ve seen this season, this might be one of the most awful. I haven’t read the source material, so I went in blind. But even as someone who knows nothing about it, I could tell this is a bad adaptation. There were so many still shots with almost no movement, like a powerpoint animation sliding left, right, up, and down… even the mouth movements were rare, especially during dialogue scenes (except for Marie, since she’s a robot). Also, it feels like they crammed way too much into a single episode. If that’s really the case, the pacing is bad, and the flow isn’t smooth at all. I’m not great at describing these things, but it honestly felt like watching a bunch of clips filmed in different places, awkwardly cut together with no natural transitions. And during the fight scene, it just turned into still images again.... :"D that was honestly frustrating. I actually had higher expectations because the premise sounded interesting, and it’s a romcom too, so I thought it’d be fun… Like, how did they suddenly end up having feelings for each other??? 😅 Anyway, I’ll try to keep watching. Hopefully the next episodes will do better. |

@hanakocheeks It's a very poor adaption, at least of the first chapter. Please read it if you're interested in it at all. Don't get me wrong, even the manga is, admittedly, slightly fast paced, but there is FAR more justification for their feelings toward one another than the first episode of this adaption. |

Really gotta turn off the brain for this one... the smile scene was hilarious, but mistaking a human for a robot... and "muscles" as hard as metal? C'mon... 3/5. At least MC is cute. |

I'm so conflicted with this anime. On one hand I absolutely love the story, been reading it since the beginning and I'm so excited the anime came out. On the other hand I'm so devasted by the use of AI in the anime, it's such a fuck you to the hard working animators and doesnt even make the show better in fact its jaring and makes it worse. Idk whether to rate it well or poorly now what would use guys do? |

@zbikk clearly noone gaf if it meant more anime. no doubt about it. AI is gonna get used in anime. i hate it. i hate this timeline. it's gonna penetrate the industry and i'd be forced to accept it. |

Well there are people who make jokes that emotionless/expressionless people are like robots, this is basically making that joke real😅 I wonder if people are aware that Arthurs distrusts humans, also I'm surprised someone who doesn't trust people still has staff in his mansion, then again, despite how talented he is, how well can he manage a whole mansion by himself?🤔😂 |

More shoujo yay! Ahh I love this premise so much. We’ve had the whole ice queen slowly discovers her emotions and finds happiness thing done quite a lot recently, but we haven’t had one set up quite like this with the girl pretending to be an android lol. It’s a good thing the prince is stupid, I wonder how long Marie will be able to keep up the guise? She’s so adorable and I love how she’s determined to keep him safe!! I’d love to see her link up with Sara from hotel Inhumans I’m hearing that generative AI was used in this tho, that’s really shitty if so. What’s the details of its use here? |

@zbikk disgusting A strong human girl pretending to be a robot that has the ability to withstand a small blast, run and follow a fast moving car and jump on top of it but somehow gets defeated by a fire by not jumping up to the window which not that very high... yeah right. Looks like an easy drop, i will give it 3 episodes. 2/5 |

Loved the prologue. From the title, to the opening, to the ending, to the screen, to the ring, to the pen, to the king, I honestly thought Marie was actually a robot. But I still had a glimmer of doubt, since this anime wasn’t listed as a sci-fi. Then the episode made it clear, Marie is actually a human pretending to be a robot so that her Arthur's subordinates would cover both her debts, inherited from her parents, and her school tuition. And from the very first episode, Marie’s already starting to fall in love? Girl, you only took the job for the money, what are you doing falling in love in the pilot episode? Also, not that I’m complaining, but I feel like expressionless heroines are becoming a trend. First it was Reina Aharen, then Kashiwada, and now Marie? Goodness gracious. Like, I ain't saying all this to trash the anime or anything, it’s just that this is going to be an obstacle later on. You can’t really have a proper relationship unless you tell Arthur the truth about your species, which is also problematic, since he’s a misanthrope, and you're a human in actuality. So, I ain't sure. |

The concept seems quite fun and cute, I'd love to see how the story develops, but the very AI-looking stills make me not want to continue watching. It is upsetting, but I'd rather read the manga at this point. |

I know it's a comedy and for an emotional scene but the part with the burnt down warehouse is completely dumb. Like, the show already makes Marie as this superhuman who can run that fast and jump that high yet she can't escape the burnt warehouse on her own. |
