Looks interesting but the art was a bit simple looking. The main seems nice tho not sure with herself, not that i can blame her. I wonder what more we can expect from this. |

So it's not licensed anyway? Oh I see it is a motion comic that's a shame... |

Decent enough start the artstyle is interesting I wasnt expecting it to be like a motion comic. |

I actually like a peaceful fantasy anime like this so I'm quite sad that this is not a proper anime format. It's a motion comic with just half of normal episode length, reminds me of previous season's Broken Saintess which is not exactly a good anime. I've no complain about the story though, it's too soon to complain anyway. By the way, I sense that this anime will lean forward to yuri love... |

The animation is like stick figure CGI or something like that

@elkensteyin OK, so scratch my previous comment - this was apparently built from the ground up as a motion comic, so it was an artistic choice. Storyline isn't anything to write home about, however. |

oh man, I was looking for some simple stuff to watch but I can't look at that... too bad if it was an artistic choice |

Wow such awful animation. Looks like a web comic which wouldn't be as terrible if it was just a web comic. All these 2D morph style animations just look awkward. Equally didnt expect it to be a mini series, but I guess that doesn't matter with it being an instant drop anyway. Bummer because I typically like the generic potion selling isekai. |

A lot people hating on the animation. It was quite simple, but that does not bother me. The more important bit is the story which I shall I say just from episode one, umm not a lot happened. She found herself in a strange world and a book to tell her how to make potions. She just made grass and water potions and sold them... |

Art is ok, but the animation is so horrible its unwatchable for me. Imagine cardboard cutouts animated. I cant even tell you about the story, it could have been good I have no idea. I made it to the first scene before I said 'nope'. I am a bit blown away that they really think this is ok, and I hope it does not become a trend. |

This takes me back to Diver Dan. Will say that it has more things moving than the standard 2d Not sure they can pull this off. This style will offend some. Hope the story is tight. |

Probably an instant drop, but I'll likely give it to episode two making it a near-instant drop. The slightly more than half-length episodes make watching two episodes a similar time commitment as watching one of a normal episode-length series anyway. The first thing which caught me off-guard was the animation as I wasn't expecting it to be this minimal motion webcomic style. It reminds me of some past seasonals I didn't end up watching but saw previews of or watched a minute of or so which were just basically audio with static frames, more like what I imagine an audiobook with pictures or visual novel is like. But that doesn't bother me much. I'll always watch anything regardless of animation and art style or quality, depending on if the premise interests me enough and writing sells it. But then I wasn't expecting the shorter episodes. That does take it down a notch in my consideration as I usually try to avoid bothering with all the shorts, even if this is of a longer length than those super short 1 minute or 3 - 5 minute ones, and sits somewhere in-between those and a normal full length episode. But the problem is mainly just with what the runtime was used for. Super basic setup you feel you can get as much detail and satisfaction from simply reading a synopsis of. Very standard isekai. Japanese high school girl arrives in unfamiliar European-inspired fantasy world with mechanics or other influences of JRPGs and video games. Makes magical item and barters for food or sells for foreign currency. Shop, inn, stroll through town. Etc. Pretty bland. They have to do something more with the next episode, short as it is, to make me want to continue to see any more from this. Right now it just comes off like a basic sketch outline of a thousand different isekai. As an isekai at least it's a tad more appealing to me than some in that: 1.) The main character is a girl or woman, as used to be more prevalent either as the majority, or there at least used to be more mixed ratios instead of always the male otaku hikko NEET 2.) The main character actually wants to return home at some point rather than them saying or the show itself indicating they despised their life in their old world in Japan on Earth and had no future and nothing of value to live for and want to return to 3.) The main character actually may be able to return home, in line with that desire, since it appears that she is in her same original body from Earth, didn't die to be reincarnated, and instead just teleported to this other universe probably as a result of some deity's summoning So far, and this was known even before watching it based on the premise, it's the most similar series I've seen or heard of to Potion-danomi de Ikinobimasu!, an isekai from 2023 which I ended up rating a 5/10 and is one of my least favorite isekai I've seen. But in that series the main character was often very obnoxious and she had also died and been reincarnated so had no prospects of returning back home, so it's already a little different in that sense. This could prove slightly better due to the main character and their isekai'd circumstances, but if I already get the feeling early on from the second episode that it's something I'll just end up mostly finding bland and rating average or below, then I'll just proceed to drop. |

I was interested in this (love my alchemist anime), but the art style is too much for me, hit's the uncanny valley for me, stopped it in the first 30 seconds. |

This animation is crap and the plot isn't any good and feels like there's no plot at times. I'm dropping this immediately!! 1/10 for me. |

I've heard Imageworks is "famous" for this "light anime" stuff. There were elves and beastpeople in the OP so I hope to see them soon, if they have a character I might keep watching. |

Damn, I was excited for this one because I like a nice, light isekai, and the potions aspect is a fun one I want to see more writers play around with. But this "motion comic" thing is so godawful. I've genuinely seen smoother, more dynamic animation in fucking Pivot. I get that it's artwork and by nature there's going to be people who make artistic choices I disagree with but I think this fundamentally was the wrong medium to tell this story in. |

It's times like this where I feel grateful that manga I read and liked and later got anime adaptations (for example, I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level manga adaptation) got a proper anime instead of a motion comic like this did. I don't know why anyone would be happy about an anime adaptation being a motion comic instead of a proper anime, and I also don't know why motion comics are even a thing in the first place. |

Ain't no way people are sucking on copium about the animation that it was a stylised choice. Studio makes cheap animation with a quick turn around. Everything they made is in this style and it's just a bare bones isekai so the animation is where it's supposed to make it better. I feel sorry for the creator of the story. |

this is a slideshow made from PowerPoint, an AI will be leagues better than this PowerPoint presentation feel like this level of animation belongs is from a third world class project but when you see the line up seiyuus for this this is legitimate an anime from japan china is taking over the animation sector and South Korea with their manwhas and novels |

Not bad, the art style is interesting. The 13-minute episodes make sense, and there’s not too much to expect from this anime. It’s just a simple, quick, pass-time show. |

Well, at least this is an honest one... doesn't try to be a pretencious "mainstream" anime while being sucks like so many before it... It's just a short-motion-comic anime to watch while on commute, or during your short office lunch break time, and not something to get so serious abt... (or even in the middle of an online meeting when it's still another departments time to speak abt things unrelated to yours. Don't tell you boss it was my idea!!! wwww) I mean, it's already 2025. You can watch anime openly in the middle of a packed train without anyone batting an eye.... wwwwww TBH tho... I like motion-comic format more for a short anime.... without the burden, or distraction, of complex animation, they can pack more into the charas and stories in a shorter amount of time. It's a short anime, you need to focus more on the plot and charas more than pointless sakuga... Ofc unless it was for Getsuyoubi no Tawawa or the likes... then you may want to focus on... other "things" IFYKWIM... wwwwww PS: I don't thing this count as a slop. Since a slop indicating the studio being lazy or cutting corners to prioritize profits over consumer satisfaction.... This is clearly made by design to be a cheap product sold at a cheap prize made only by a small team... I mean, selling AC Shadows at $70 is an overprice; Expedition 33 at $40 is a fair price; Hollow Knight at $15 is generous. But saying that Chilla's Art "The Closing Shift" a slop simply bc of it's short content and "cheap" art style is unfair, since it is only sold for $5 afterall... It's a fair price for the given product... TBATE is advertised as a "mainstream" title, made by premium team... Now titles like that doesn't have any reason to be that awful... But not this one IMO... |

I am also enjoying this unique way of anime presentation. I quite curious how the story will continue. She probably will make even more complex kind of potions. The store keeper seems to be trustworthy who bought her potions. |

@Marinate1016 It's seems to be intentionally an animated comic. I think that is throwing people off. Also probably does not help the first episode not much happened. |
