| Damn, having an engagement broken off and being accused of being a villainess hurts. This show follows Scarlett and her life although I like what they did with her personality. She seems strong, independent, and isn't afraid to take a stand. Some of the guys in this show have egos though. Kyle already has an annoying attitude and I don't like him. Production quality looks solid for this imo, hope there won't be a dip in quality. |

| Novelist Nana Ootori's lone series is definitely not a villainess story that's unique by any means, but at least it has potential. CHiCO with HoneyWorks's OP is lively alright, though it's much too heavy on the rock. The princess of Scarlet el Vandimion, getting the misogyny treatment from her supposed-to-be-fiancé of 2nd Prince Kyle von Pallistan, that more than him annulling his engagement with her to some other woman (Terenezza Hopkins), the immediate title drop sure is one that will be the philosophy for the rest of her life. From the beginning, Scarlet always has constantly been a lady whose temper is like a blazing bull, but it's only when she met Kyle, that it begins the rocky part of her childhood persisting against his pettiness, even using her as his slave with his over-inflated ego and childish idiocy that Scarlet herself can only stand her ground being unfazed. This is compared against his older brother of 1st Prince Julius, who's more composed and classier that tries his damn hardest to catch her attention when he first met her. From then on, Julius's persistence on Scarlet just drives her nuts, from perfect grades to magic marksmanship, though she's more willing to calm her composure and take his challenge head on rather than Kyle, whom he deeply cares about her more amidst his pestering. Too bad that both brothers are just as similar being nutcases of their own right, and that leading to the day of Kyle's cancelled engagement with Scarlet, let's just call it just desserts for everyone earning her punches and magic, and making quite the murderous scene alright against his supporter faction as the Mad Dog Noblewoman. Shiyui's ED is freaking good! Oh yeah, Scarlet is quite the villainess in formation alright, what a badass girl. Bring more of her confidence! |

| Been looking forward to this. Scarlet's so pretty. The typical villainess premiere but with a fun spin to it. Loved the bloodbath by Scarlet. Hope things work out for Scarlet x Julius. ED song is really good. |

| This was the most satisfying pummeling I've ever seen in all of anime. She didn't just stop at hitting one douchebag like most anime characters would, nah she took down the entire room and saved the best for last. And they say violence isnt the answer to petty bullying. Gotta put those pricks in their place sometimes 😤 What a way to overturn years of villainess anime clichés in the best way possible. Not to mention the smug b*tch that stole Scarlett's fiance away from him got exactly what she deserved. Inquiring Men of Culture want to know. Op has some interesting clues, will she wind up with Julius, the Demon Lord, or ruling solo? Her character says ruling solo, but the romance tag says she will wind up with somebody. |

| I've been waiting to see this since it was announced as i loved the manga with her kicking the sh!te out of them, that was not a disappointment and i hope the quality stays like this |

| Just the first episode alone is enough to make me root for Scarlet and love to hate Prince Kyle. Kyle Igneczi did a great job portraying just how bothersome he was to Scarlet, and it only helped to make that beatdown much more satisfying. I wasn't expecting the ending to be so focused on Terenezza, and she's all the classic disney princesses too. Interesting! |

| Kyle and many other previous fiancé characters being written so cartoonishly/one-dimensionally dumb is something I've never been a fan of from the villainess themed stuff, as it's quite common in them, but I guess at least we get to see Scarlet give him, the girl ,and all their followers a good beating. Definitely different than the usual and as entertaining as I remember back when I read it. |

| There’s a handful of villainess anime airing this season after not having any for a while, and as much as I’d like to hit them all, I decided to go with only this one because it sounded the most fun, and it was quite fun from this first episode. I do wanna start by saying this tho, as much as I love watching Scarlet punch people that deserve it, I can’t help but wonder how people would feel if the roles were reversed. What if there was a show about a man treated similarly to Scarlet but they were all noble women? Would people be as into that? I’m gonna guess probably not lol. That aside, I did really like this, Scarlet is an enjoyable villainess MC so far, I especially liked her interactions with Julius, I’m not sure if he’s gonna be a big romance option or not because Scarlet seemed to want to punch him almost as much as Kyle, but I personally found him messing with Scarlet to be very entertaining, so I hope he sticks around for a while. And speaking of Kyle, man he was really cartoonishly mean huh lol, not a shred of anything likable, I guess that’s fine since it makes the beatdown that much more satisfying, but I think I would’ve preferred there being more to him, but maybe that’ll come later if he’s utilized beyond this. As for Terenezza, I don’t have enough to go on with her but the way she taunted Scarlet made the punch on her pretty satisfying too, but based on the OP and ED it looks like there’s more to her than meets the eye, I’m pretty interested in finding out what. And the OP and ED in question were both bangers, can’t go wrong with HoneyWorks and I’ve only heard Shiyui’s Zom 100 ED so it’s very cool hearing her again, her song here was very cool. |

| Society claims she isn’t ladylike, yet she looks downright elegant while beating the crap out of aristocrats. That was a surprisingly fun and entertaining watch. Not sure how long the whole “What if a villainess loved violence?” gimmick can last, but for now, they definitely know how to sell the joke. |
