| Good ep Morally thought Nice would switch up, but damn the hat would follow was definitely surprising. So uh, Dragon Boy isn’t even a hero, he’s just a lame pawn with a boring backstory that no cares abt tbh. They really throwing hands. X so clutch for that 😮💨 Nice to see the CGI models once again, which was obvious as we got to X’s arc closer and closer. Had to show that fraud what a real hero is 🙂↕️ Damn not Smile, tho I fully know why Nice killed himself atp cause he simply wants be himself, the world feels like they can control him, (which they can). This dude Rock thinks he safe huh. 9/10 |

| That was a fantastic episode. To Be Hero X season 1 started strong, became a little bit less good in the middle, but is almost certainly ending on an incredibly high note as all the buildup is paying off. We don't get shows like this often; the sheer scale and ambitiousness of the worldbuilding is insane. Smile dies this episode... At least he went out with a smile. I wonder if this indicates that conviction is able to mitigate the effects of fear to an extent; because Smile always believed in smiling for others, he was able to maintain a fragment of his humanity. Anyways; Smile was a good man. His death is definitely the death that hit hardest for me. I wonder if people would be more sympathetic to Dragon Boy if we learned about his backstory, since he clearly was abused by some people. Still trash in my eyes though, and always will be. X crumpling him was incredibly satisfying. Speaking of which, X showed up, aura farmed, and sent Rock a message. X showing up despite it being "overtime" for him made Rock realize that he can lure out X by hurting his associates and friends; X is aware of this, and looked at Rock straight in the eye through the camera feed. That was cold. Next episode is Ahu! Truly the greatest. My personal #1 hero for real. I can't wait to see how much of a dog he is. |
| THE ENDING WAS AWESOME, the whole episode was very well animated, the soundtrack left something to be desired, but the ending fixed everything, it was incredible |

| X can change reality. He turned Dragon Boy into paper, balled him up, and threw him into the river. He should've put him in a plastic bag and tucked him in a pocket. The end was interesting. Took us back to episode 1. |

| Welp that probably explains why Nice offed himself in the first episode. While I'm glad he didn't directly inject Smile with the fear, he did indirectly do so to his childhood hero, watching him become a monster, and dying in front of him. Nice himself was next on the hit list, Dragon Boy was most likely sent to take them both out from the start, knowing what would happen and taking advantage of the connection they shared. But not before we finally see X step into the action and, as we all've been saying, literally fold Dragon Boy. Rock has been watching everything from afar, and has seemed to discovered something about X, who no doubt is the biggest thorn in his side in preventing him from reaching his goals of making the next Zero. |

| Holy shit this episode was awesome. Seeing the clash between Dragon Boy, Smile and Nice was both visually beautiful and emotionally resonant. By the end you can really see Nice's disillusionment with the concept of heroes and how he blames himself for Smile's death, resulting in his suicide. X was a complete badass too, literally bending reality to win with ease. The animation shifts finally make sense now; X can morph the dimensions to teleport around and control movement. He really is a god. |

| Dragon Boy is quite a monster, even Fear can't take over him. That scene when X snapped his fingers to save Nice then the art style changed, that was cool. I'm gonna guess one of(?) X's powers is that he can control dimensions. Rest in peace Smile, he died smiling :( Looks like this incident may be what leads to Nice committing suicide, not being able to live with the guilt. We shall see. |

| Bruh X did Dragon boy dirty lmao Smile didn't deserve that at all. I wish he could've at least seen his daughter one last time. Now Rock believe he has a weakness against X. I'm hoping for X to be prepared for these bastards. Meanwhile, Nice was going through hell this whole time. I'm definitely not surprised that he took his own life after unintentionally killing the hero who inspired him to become a hero. |
