King vs King.
Is history going to repeat itself, or will there be an exception this time?

Either way, it’s a based finale, tbh.

Hah, Gilgamesh, Saber and Ishtar are Fate characters that I usually see on the Internet on random occasions. And I'm not that much into Fate, lol.

What do you mean? Iraq still exists

Gil is the King of Heroes. The King of Kings would be Ozymandias who is also a really great servant

@NS2D The specific city state Gil comes from Uruk no longer exists being conquered so many times. Its not the cool Rome conquered a bunch, but actually being conquered people and not changing the conquerer's culture to your own (see the greeks, iranians and Chinese). Heck I thought he was Babylonian. Calling Gil Iraqi does not cut it, but ultimately I made that comment in tongue in check.

Yeah, it was obvious even before the start of the competition that they would win over anyone good.

thanks @Shizuna for this tournament. And yeah, no surprises with the Saber win, but Gilgamesh at second makes me proud. Nice to know that every mongrel here knows how great he is. Ryougi Shiki was also great in this tournament.

I was surprised how Kingprotea performed better than Astolfo.

It was a great tournament.

To be honest, it'd be very surprising if Saber, Gilgamesh or Ishtar didn't win. It appears they took all top3 places, haha.

Congrats to the winners, thanks @Shizuna for organizing this tournament!

Thanks for hosting the tournament @Shizuna!

The final top 3 was about what I'd expect but it was fun to see some more obscure servants take part too, way more than I had expected actually. Seems like I underestimated how many people here has played Extella and FGO

@NS2D
The tournament wouldn't have worked with only popular servants, because there aren't enough of them. Most from Fate/Stay Night, a few more from Zero and Apocrypha, and Ishtar. I don't think we'd have even had 20 contestants without going deeper into the rabbit hole.

@Shizuna Fully agree. The story is a bit weak early on up until Camelot but after that everything changes and you can tell that it's written by people who got experience making amazing popular VNs

@Lucifrost Yes of course but even within FGO and the Extraverse games there are some servants that are more popular and well known than others and I think we got a really good mix of them in this tournament

Oh, I wouldn't have known that since I haven't played those games. Both my obscure picks lost in the 1st round. I may give the Extra remake a chance if it gets good reviews.
