| I bet the baby is going to make Clen change his mind and ressurect Nell in the next episode. Due to all that drama dump, there is no way they're just gonna keep her dead. Alicia fighting those disgusting bandits was great as well, although the action animation was a little average compared to previously. I'm really excited to see how she will get that legendary sword though. You just know a show is really good when it only feels like 5 minutes to you before the credits roll.. and that's with me watching ep 2 and 3.. one after the other. This is going to be a painful wait if every episode is this awesome. I can't remember the last time I've watched a really good dark anime... so Clevatess has been quite the surprise of the season for me. Super enjoying it. |

| The writer is great. In 99% of fiction MC would succeed in rescuing the girl like a hero on a white horse, but nope we were a little too late and she lies dead, torn, mutilated in troll's vomit and clevatess is like "well tough shit but whatever". Alicia is also super enjoyable, this crazy bitch is almost as unhinged as Panty and Stockings. And I love the voice actress Haruka Shiraishi (mostly known for Asirpa from Golden Kamuy), she is so good in portraying cold, capable and brave heroines - sheer excellence. |

| I figured that Clevatess would need to revive Alicia and he sort of did with forcing his blood back into her and jump starting her heart again. Also, it was interesting to find out that the regeneration process is painful and so is suffocation. Now I wonder how she'll be able to locate the sword in the dark murky water, guessing she may be drawn to it. Regarding Nell, Clevatess implied he would let her die with the baby by her side but I think he might reconsider once the baby gets hungry again (unless she can't give milk if she's revived with his blood or something). |

| I thought I already wrote about this episode, but it seems to have slipped my banana brain. I gotta say, the character dynamic is starting to shine more and more in this show. The more I watch, the I grow attached to the world; characters; stories; and plot. I gotta say when I started the first episode I did not anticipate the shows plot to take this very grounded plot line. The reason for my surprise and take is due to the overwhelming amount of isekai "reinventing" the wheel of their genre by using the fantasy element. I thought this fantasy would take our female lead and make her 'apprentice' of the villain and she learns more about the world through the 'villain' while they learn more about humans and their world and they fall in love or whatever. But because I didn't read the synopsis I ended up going in blind, coming up with a ridiculous assumption and came out shocked it didn't fit any mold that was already created. Addition, it does fit a mold, which i am not very familiar with. And I am welcome it. Anyway, this episode surprised me through the humanization of the main cast, the hopefulness that our naive main cast has and a refreshing smart villain although I might be giving too much credit where credit is due. The way the fight is animated leaves room for criticism but its not something to sneeze at. That being said, it almost feels insulting to anticipate a shonen type of battle sequence only to be met with *poorly played kazoo* whatever that was. But again, its does the job so I should just take it with a table of salt. I will be rating this episode based on 3 things (PLOT, SOUNDTRACK, CHARACTERS) Plot: 7/10 ngl, very surprised by how naive the main character is... this dude is like >1000s years old Soundtrack: 8/10 I love the opening, the sound track in this episode is wonderful, but Im not much of musical person so beep boop Characters: 9/10 the villain is surprisingly cunning is catching me off guard by how witty he is when it comes to out smarting the main characters. And the main cast, except the knight, is just one naive bundle of joy. Very nice! Overall: 9/10 love this episode but -1 for such a cliff hanger UGH |

| Alicia sure survived that harrowing fall alright, partly thanks to Clevatess (Klen) and his dark (blood) ichor to restore her broken bones, but it sure made her even more a threat to the Ravens bandits, as the demon found Nell enough to act as Luna's wet nurse for the time being while he pampers the former hero alright. As if the Ravens could do no more evil, Master Vroko sure made his sentence bringing Nell to the arcanacite troll monster Betty to be eaten for her execution. But the mistake of Klen coming in one step too late to save Nell, though he managed to scare Betty with his presence enough before Vroko mixed the vitality of "magic" to recapture the troll's senses. And as if things on the surface are improving, Alicia faces quite the confrontation against the Ravens, and the only possibility is to get into the lake where Arvensis rests, to reach the legendary sword safe and sound. It's a survival battle of wits for both Klen and Alicia, both in different ways. |

| Once again Nell has no luck and she made the mistake of talking about this proposition to leave her place. Meanwhile Alicia is so OP and intelligent at the same time, sure it's easier when you can't die and can stop breathing for a long time xD |

| Alicia has returned from the dead for another time, lol. I loved how her brilliant skills could come in handy both while fighting those bandits hand to hand, and coming up with a plan with the scaffolding and diving in a barrel to the depths of that artificial lake. Oh, and she looks awesome with an eyepatch. ;p |

| Nah poor Nell, that was just diabolical. I hope clevates does something instead of just saying he can't do anything so the others don't recognise him, but then again how would anyone recognise him, if he killed everyone? Either way great ep, I can't wait for the next! |

| On hindsight, it is strange how easily Clevatess left Luna mountain considering how adamant he was about "protecting his land" before. I guess nobody really is in a position to attack with the hidean king dead? This does scratch my dark fantasy itch though. |
