| Watching this years later made me realize how good season 3 really was. The duels between Yubel/Zane & Yubel/Adrian were some of the best this franchise has seen imo. Such a stupid ending to the dub, but I know the reasoning behind that. |

| Wow, that was really cool. Nice flashback with Yubel and Judai. (Personally I don't care too much for flashback Judai's hair). So Yubel and Judai are now fused. I really like the ending to this duel. It was a very long, but worthwhile duel. I'm super curious as to what this whole journey to grow from a child to an adult is about. Honestly, I can see why the US version might have ended the show around here. They have restriction as to what they can air and regulations to follow, and if the next season is anything like this, I can understand why they may have had to cut it. |

| HAD ME IN TEARS ! I'm a dub watcher. EVERYTHING about the dub is perfect, gonna miss their voices. Maybe it's cause I'm a heavy Yu-Gi-Oh player, I love the game as well but GX IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST ANIME EVER !!! |

| Fantastic conclusion to this duel and arc. I really enjoyed the darker tone, the fast pace and all the layers to it. There pretty much wasn't a single episode where nothing was going down. If I had to name one aspect that could've been handled better then it would be the fact that there wasn't much focus on the standard cast, but the moments for the characters present were all memorable and Yubel was easily the best antagonist. Amon was pretty good as well and definitely an interesting addition. Granted there were many stupid or wtf moments. However, I also ended up with a deeper appreciation for the themes that were portrayed well and Judai's character development. |

| My sister said Johan and Judai are connected by a rainbow -- and then the show gave us Rainbow Neos, the literal symbol of their hearts combined. I didn’t realize combining souls with Yubel was where this coming-of-age story would lead, but yes this is good. S3 definitely took us where it should have and gives GX a voice. The themes this season were more interesting than the story itself, and while it was difficult to find my attention span in some of these duels, overall in a strange way, things work out. The only thing I didn't like was the random hero-prince mushroom-headed Judai from the past. It was so out of left field that it became funny. If it had been something like younger!Judai instead, reaching out to Yubel for some closure, it would have made more sense to me than a reincarnation trope. Next season looks shorter than the others but I hope this momentum continues and everything gets wrapped up ahh |
| The writer(s) tried way too hard to connect the Light of Destruction subplot with Yubel's character especially in this episode where we discovered Yubel's origin as well as Judai's past life. Honestly I wish that their past lives had been explored a lot more instead of this being the only episode where we'll see stuff like that. I didn't necessarily mind the ending of the duel even if at the end of the day it took 5 episodes for us to get to this point and for the duel to not have an actual end. Also that Trap card that Judai used to fuse his soul with Yubel's was ridiculous. And of course the biggest fault of this episode in the dub is that it's the last GX episode because I guess that 4Kids thought 5D's was more profitable so they skipped season 4 of GX completely, making this the de facto dub ending. :/ |
| Recalling a quip early on, turns out Jaden isn't the reincarnation of an Egyptian pharaoh, but of a fantasy prince, and Yubel is a yandere guardian spirit who is somehow supposed to protect him from an even greater evil...? What? |

| Ryou didn't come back... So does that mean he really died as Hell Kaiser from heart problems caused by the duels in the underworld and wasn't trapped in another dimension like the others? Misawa stayed with Tania, Lol. I didn't like how the flashbacks showing human Yubel and the Juudai from a past life were too fast. They should have explored this story a little more, as well as Juudai's childhood. Since this season ended like this, I don't understand why they continued for another one. Let's see what happens in the next episodes. |
