My guy, this is Fujimoto we're talking about. Unless they got some sort of immortality to them (Fiends like Denji who recover as long as they drink blood) then they are good as dead.
@HueyLion Denji is not a Fiend, he isa hybrid. Power was a Fiend and she got deleted by Makima back then.
So I am pretty sure she is dead, and I hope she is.

Besides Nayuta, it kinda feels like Fujimoto just repeated the Makima arc of part 1 with Barem. Can't say I am a big fan of that parallelism, but this SHOULD be the turning point of Part 2. From here on I expect greatness again.

I was somewhat mixed on the chapter, (very cathartic nonetheless) but I really loved this detail of the "Paradise" sign lying amidst the rubble. Sad as it makes me, that kinda feels like the Fujimoto way to confirm that they're officially all gone... Paradise lost. Or maybe I'm going full schizo who knows 💀

I like that Denji is the one who "killed" Barem, and not Pochita. Also, seeing Pochita again after such a long time feels good. I would have liked to see more of Denji's reaction regarding Nayuta's death, but I guess it'll just happen later once he de-transforms, so it's fine. I'm hyped to see how they will try to stop Pochita because right now it looks like they'll just get destroyed by him. I also noticed he's already BEHIND special division 5 and they didn't even see him. He's just that fast. Fami will most likely be the one who has to stop Pochita by summoning another primal devil, I don't see how else they can tame him.

NOW THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT! What a graphic and gratuitous pay off for seeing Denji suffer for so long! Fuji cooked hard with the grotesque illustrations this chapter and I missed his signature geometric onomatopeia kanji that always accompanied them! Looking forward to seeing what these uniquely designed devils bring to the table next week!

tho it seems more of a failed child birth (or maybe just all the gore implied in childbirth)
before denji turns into pochita-csm a umbilical cord thingy just comes out of his belly button and suffocates him which is like, actually a thing that can happen in childbirth and I really don't know how one could explain that if we don't take the chainsaw angle in the child birth angle

In the previous chapter shit hits the fan, in this chapter Denji is stirring it around and I'm in for it! this is why I love this manga, this is chaotic and crazy but in a good way.

Barem is a piece of shit for sure, but what he's doing is to save the world after all and the billions of people in it, if to save the world you have to sacrifice a child, like Nayuta, and a couple of thousands of human beings, is it worth it? I guess it is, I don't like the method, but you are saving the world and the billions of people in it so it's a good trade, I wish there was a better way to do it but there probably isn't and you can't be picky on how you are planning on saving the world, the end justifies the means so if you are saving the world by doing evil things, is it worth it? it probably is in the long run. So while Barem is a piece of shit, I don't know if I can hate him this much, I kinda hate him but at the same time, I understand what he's doing.

I do want to know what happened with that "fake" Chainsaw Man from the previous chapters, you know, the one that appeared when Denji was fighting the Falling Devil, what was the deal with that Chainsaw Man? Is he someone we know and I just forgot about it?

Why do I believe Nayuta isn’t actually dead?

I will admit it rn, CSM has been so much better than JJK recently. However I still believe CSM part 2 as a whole just feels so bloated and all over the place. The story isn’t sticking but it’s just literally “let me torture the mc for a bit before he gets back”.

Btw Denji is gonna lose himself and Asa is gonna be the key somehow. Yes it is that predictable lol. And people not seeing that is glazing this part way too much. Hope I am wrong and somehow it gets interesting but so far I still don’t feel as connected as I was in part 1. Fujimoto is trying way too hard to recreate what he did in part 1 and I don’t like that because other than progressing in a new direction. It’s just the same thing done differently lol

Theres also the fact that Nayuta wasn’t in the story much, if this is really her end.

I LOVE THE CHAPTER! But only problem is I start feeling that Chainsaw Man getting to end. I don't think that I want see a final in this year or 2025. Because I don't know why but I like the manga more than I like the anime adaptation.
