| Akainu leaving his desk is actually wild lmao. I thought he was pulling up to Egghead or something, like oh it’s over, Navy boutta lose fr. But nah he was talking about himself this man is trolling heavy. And the way he’s just ignoring everybody yelling at him during the Kuma scene... Dude does NOT care. Celestial Dragons talking and he’s just all good on that. Man’s over it. Lowkey that whole part just proves it, when the fleet admiral’s out here throwing hands, you know it’s getting serious. Anywho, back to Egghead, and yeah it is nice to see Luffy back in action, especially back in Snake Man of all forms. Though yeah, Kizaru has like no problem whatsoever when it comes to him, and just straight up basically leaves midway and just directs his shot to the Vegaforce, which hits. Poor Lilith man, she was devasted. Don't know what Bonney was thinking trying to step toe-to-toe with KIZARU, but yeah she just got kicked into the barrier lol. Props to Franky though, although his attacks never do much, he always has balls of steels trying to attack this very obviously stronger people. Bro casually attacked a Yonkou last arc, and now an Admiral lol. And when all hope looks lost, with Kizaru pulling up to the the Lapophase, here comes everyone favorite laugh box Luffy from half across the island.... FUCKING GRABBING KIZARU IN HIS GINAT ASS FORM.... So yeah, I think those cartoony eye's out of socket reactions were VERY much warranted there xD  NEXT episosde... yeah, shit's going DOWN. |

| Kizaru covering such a huge distance in an instance is an insane speed. The true strength of the Pika Pika no Mi lies in mid and long range combat. Not much Luffy can do to dodge such a kick. Also, hilarious how Kizaru kept talking even tho he was too far away for Luffy to hear anything. Against an admiral rubber boy seriously needs Gear 5th. |

| Yesterday, Akainu was in Mary Geoise possibly handling the situation of the food shortage with the Celestial Dragons. Wasn't he on his desk in his office in Marine HQ when Kizaru was going to Egghead? Did he travel by ship so quickly? I guess he will be back in Marine HQ on present day to monitor the situation in Egghead. What a busy bum. 😂 Oh I'm glad that Kuma got away before Akainu could do any more damage. Love that animation with Gear 4 Snakeman Luffy vs. Kizaru. I feel sorry for the destruction of Vegaforce-01, the hope of mankind. 😢 Giant robots are cool!! 😭 Franky, don't dilly-dally and you should have just cut to the chase! Could have told them immediately that Kizaru is coming for them. Kizaru almost killed Dr. Vegapunk. 😭 But my heart jumped for JoyBoy when the Drums of Liberation started playing in the background! 😍 Giant Gear 5 Luffy grabbed Kizaru like he was just an action figure. 🤣 Everyone's eyes popped out of their sockets including Brook! 😂 He's a skeleton and he doesn't have eyes, but now he does, yohohohohohoo!! 🤣 What a cliffhanger to end the episode! The camera was slowly focusing on the Iron Giant's head transitioning with Gear 5 Luffy's face as the OST is playing. Then the Iron Giant's eyes started glowing red, and then episode ends! | Illegal cliffhanger, but i'll let it go, since it was a hilarious reminisce via Wano, haha. Cliffhanger aside though, Emet awakened as soon as he heard the drums of liberation? LET'S GO BABY! No Sentomaru this episode, guess bro's unconscious for now, hope he'll live though, cuz he rly started to grow on me. Sentomaru aside though, it was so sad to see Borsalino slicing Vegaforce in half using Luffy as a kicked rock, moreover, both the looks in Stella's & Borsalino's eyes as they are face to face, saddening, man. Like, both of you have known each other for years, and Borsalino don't wanna do any of this stuff, he's just a celestial dragons' puppet, no matter how strong he is, ordered to kill, he'd have to kill. Borsa's just doing his job, nothing wrong with that, what i'm confused about, is why Borsalino chose to be the admiral to do this himself, if it's hurting him so bad? Cuz the other admirals would've been even crueler, harsher, and hurtful? Or to actually prove to the five elders that you prioritize duty over friendship? | I'm nit going to overhype it the episode was good but not the best. Gear 5 Luffy incoming, I wish they didn't focus on him laughing so much but it is a side effect of going G5. Akainu missing Kuma with so many punches was kind of ludicrous. |

| Loved this episode, has it all: Kuma and Bonney, both Admirals Akainu and Kizaru fighting, Luffy 4th gear Snake Man, suspense on what happened to the Sunny, drums of liberation with a giant Nika Luffy 5th gear and a cliffhanger with that giant robot awakening, was it waiting for Joyboy? The next episode looks very promising! Yohohoo~ |

| @WolfWood37 That flashback really just didn't work for me and was honestly my least favorite part of the arc. It was so damn long too, and if this pacing remains this bad...well, the only reason I'm not entirely caught up with the anime is because I want to be able to watch that entire flashback at once, just to get it out of the way, but now I'm not sure I left myself enough room to even accomplish that. Anywho I'll give it another episode or two to say for sure, but yeah, it's starting to look more and more likely that the six month hiatus was not for pacing purposes because the pace is still pretty damn awful. Maybe that'll change, but it seems unlikely. |
| They better not pad the time of the next ep with a bunch of useless flash-cuts and dialogue scenes that are unnecessarily stretched to death to save on animation time. It was nearly bearable this episode but struck too close to Dressrosa and Wano's inane filler shenanigans for me to avoid leaving a bad taste. I suppose even this much-improved version of One Piece gives PTSD of the previous iteration. |
