Episode had a somewhat mixed of happy and awkward vibes.

The outdoors festival and friends gathered together...it's part of school life and culture. This anime loves collective memories so we got another one with the guys and Mizuho.

Kizuki is 100 percent dead in present day isn’t he…? All these meet ups Mizuho has with her old friends and she has such a gloomy look on her face and they never mention his present day whereabouts. It’s giving Orange at this point

Togo not as bad as I thought he was. Last episode got me thinking and this ep basically confirmed it, he’s def not grooming Mizuho, just wanted Shogo to start taking things seriously before it’s too late. He also played a big role in the kids getting to have their cultural festival which is so important because we know how shitty Japanese work culture is. So it’s very important that kids make these happy memories with friends while they can 😭 good on Shin for standing up as well

Idk in what world Kizuki thinks Mizuho still sees him as just a friend. She just gave him a charm last week and they’ve had so many intimate moments now?? Like even if I hate how Kizuki pulled her, everyone can see she’s into him.. just goes to show how messed up he is mentally. That ending was sweet tho.. these days wont last forever and that’s what makes them matter

Airu is lowkey my fave in this series because he knows how much he likes Mizuho but still wants to respect her wishes and not make her feel uncomfortable. What a nice fella. Solid episode

It's working good as a pandemic reminder.

Really nice that they could hold the school festival in the end and that Mizuho and the guys could make memories.

Shin turned down the best girl in school. You could just tell that she’s intelligent and self-confident the way she made that confession and took the answer.

What a jerk. I’ll take her instead.

"I also want the festival to happen..."

And then, a certain virus says:

WTF Kashiwago for turning the beauty down.

This anime has COVID as this invisible threat. I wonder if they will somehow use it as a plot point, say somebody they know will get sick of it.

@Reecey91 I'm 99.9998% certain of it at this point. I'm betting he is the one student who actually GETS Covid, seeing as when this takes place, and ends up dying from it. Or suffers a freak accident. The melancholy feel of this grows with each episode.

If he’s not dead in present day, I will find a way to kill him.

each episode manages to piss me off, somehow I was stupid enough to expect more from this episode, since the last 1-2 eps weren't as tragic but oh well

that Kizuki flashback possibly made my blood boil the most in the series so far. During their first year of high school he realized his feelings and wanted Mizuho to see him as a man rather than the "crybaby" of the group. What did he manage to do to achieve that since then? He still acts like a child, he exploits the fact that people treat him as a child, especially Mizuho who looks after him and he even admitted to her that he does that on purpose to get more attention from her. Just how the fuck do you feel entitled to be seen as a man when your actions are of a child?

people say that Kizuki might be dead in the present since Mizuho met everyone except him so far, someone even said Orange vibes. I fucking hope so he's dead, it would truly fit his idiotic character to throw a tantrum and kill himself over Mizuho treating him as a child and not loving him

I came to accept that this story is no more than a cheap self insert reverse harem fantasy from the author, but to write such shit characters with 1 dimensional personalities and the most out of touch with reality dialogues and scenes is truly next level trash

@patkarunungan this makes me wonder too. By the time when the anime is set everything was on full lockdown in the real world with masks being forced everywhere, school cancelled etc. In the anime they go to aquarium, shows, the movies, school, but not a mask in sight. Well using covid as a convenient plot tool without any kind of consistency fits this trash anime very well

Best mystery of the entire show is why they won't say COVID. I wonder what happens if you say it? I wonder if what happens if they say Voldemort? I really wonder what would happen if they said, "Voldemort has COVID." My comment is as dumb as this show.

@griddyweeb I completely agree with this! Tbh I'm not sure they are able to pull a ''orange like plottwist'' off at this point because we have 3 episodes left and it's been the same for 9... Anime's like Orange, Ao Haru Ride, Wotakoi or Anohana, to name a few very random names haha. have set the bar very high for emotional twists and turns. Can't see this show going anywhere near that at this point but I still hope they can.

I keep watching this because the anime is good for me to train my patience and keep my sanity, and reading people's comments on this forum is very entertaining... it's wild to see the number of "Kizuki" and "dead" in the same paragraph xD I don't know if he's already dead in the future or not, but it's really funny to see someone saying that he's better off dead xD I just can't stop laughing
