| U-NEXT streamed the second episode today. I think I like Raymond more as a character than Liam. But yeah, more magical fundamentals and world dynamics. I'm seeing a kind of deja vu but Liam is already starting to make use of his magic. Asuna seems like a character easy to get along with. Feels like this anime is just simple in terms of sticking with its roots. |

| Good god this anime goes way too fast, how much do they have to mash into each and every second. I feel like a senile old person trying to keep up with and average tiktok feed. I'm hoping it slows down after a while, because i don't see how they can keep up this pace for the whole season. Other than that it keeps up with my expectations for a shitty isekai i guess, it might be turning worse than expected from episode 1, but i'm most likely gonna keep watching so who am i to judge. Imagine basically surrendering you entire body and willpower to a 12 year old child you only just met through your friend just because he wanted to experiment some more. To each their own i guess |

| This anime is amusing in that it's somehow both bad and not bad at the same time. Oh yes, an important detail. There are servants in this anime, and it's pretty cool. Maids, footmen, and they're not part of the aristocracy. The maid in the first episode brings mc-kun's clothes and helps him get dressed. This is very rare in anime. Normal portrayal of servants is rare. |
| I was iffy on the the first episode, but was enjoying the hunting and illusion stuff, but then the episode switched right into weird contact stuff. I was dissapointed. But I am glad that Liam seems to understand how much power he has over those he has contracted with and stood his ground at the end. I hope the 3rd episode picks up on the magic technicality and the plot. I'm all for a basic isekai but where is the unique bit this one adds to the trend? |
| 2 part premiere here.. first episode started off nice with shades of 8th son and 7th prince. Looked like it had potential with the nobles needing to actually do shit to retain their titles, then it just started speedrunning and introducing characters way too fast in the second ep. I mean what even is the story here? Liam wants to be rich and independent, kingdom wants his abilities and he’s got a harem already? And why are all the cool events done off screen lmao. Animation looks awful too. Painfully mediocre series and it looks like the books aren’t much better. Certainly better things to watch this season, but I’ll stick with it. |

| Second episode and already 3 girls introduced, now we talking. They really got Toma chan aka Haruka Tomatsu to voice Asuna lol, same as SAO Asuna. That was on purpose without a doubt. Onee san voiced by Hayamin and princess is voiced by Itou Shizuka, this is some peak casting man. I'm so glad I picked this up. Though why tf did his skill make the onee san younger, why? The princess looks like Athena from granblue btw. Also that another world is the place from the first episode, guessing the girl will appear later and it's definitely more than just another small space. Possibly can open portal to another world like the name suggests. |

| Kinda surprised how people are over thinking such a simple premise. This isn't some big convoluted plot or anything so complex, it's literally just fantasy isekai comfort food. Think Dragon quest, the writing is basic but the story is enjoyable. It's "turn your brain off" fun. Just be thankful we haven't been thrown into pointless insane conflict for the sake of conflict. Reminds me of "By the Grace of the gods" its just a light hearted story so far. |
| Liam's eldest brother Albrevit sending him his way to the Hunter's Guild to become an adventurer, and this piques the interest of Asuna Aquage to form a party with him to quickly rack up the paces by defeating strong monsters, and a request from the Guild to defeat Carnivorous Caterpillars in the anticipation of arriving VIPs, in this case, James Stanley knowing Raymond, the master who trained him. And true to his word, James seeing his potential to develop him into an independent adventurer, with the graduation gift of a hidden underground hiding the max-level grimoire that Raymond isn't able to utilize, that he hopes Liam would have a better use for it, and to an extent, he did, but at the cusp of leaving Asuna behind with how quick he would progress. All that takes is a familiar contract to boost Asuna's powers, plus with her veteran friend of Jodie's help, Liam is making good progress to be noticed by another kingdom's princess wanting a demonstration. Miho Okasaki's ED is painfully average though. It's good that Liam just wants to focus on the small and not go big, though how far would he be able to avoid the attention coming to him. |

| Unfortunately, It seems this show will be yet another collection of hollow NPCs and a story filled with no real conflict or hard work by the characters. I'll continue to watch it as I hate myself and like watching trash-isekais, but this episode dashed what little hope I was holding out for it. Liam (MC) just gets whatever powers he's working towards handed to him on a silver platter and is already the strongest person we know of in episode 2. The main female support, Asuna, was awkwardly shoe-horned into his life and within the episode is ready to become his "familiar" (which is really just this isekai's slave girl). Not only that, but some rando girl that Asuna knew was also willing to do so after 15 seconds of meeting him. It's all so forced in terms of story beats. I feel no sense as the viewer that I have to think, or feel, or discover anything in the show because it's all just slammed into you back to back to back. |

| Ok, I could tell that the blond girl in the background of the end scene was suspicious, was that intended or not? I am glad that he cares about his familiars and doesn't want to display them like they are puppets. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |

| The first episode was kinda meh for me but glad I stuck with it, the second was much better. The world seems interesting, and the characters so far are alright. I hope there are real challenges and depth coming up for the characters. Also is it me or does the princess resemble Grace Auvergne from "From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated!"? |

| Wow the series just said "Damn introducing characters naturally is slow. Lets just throw this girl in and have her immediately agree to be the MC's slave. What? They've just met and that would be weird? Fuck no its perfectly normal" I do think the familar thing is utterly unnecessary and weird. Like I get if the series introduces a character as a slave and the MC is saving them but to enslave a perfectly capable warrior is weird. And the fact that the second girl just agreed to it immediately is even weirder. Its honestly really funny that the exact same time this is airing we have another show doing slavery but the slaves have rights (Which I've never seen before so its a unique take on it). Episode 1 I was pleasantly surprised this wasnt utter garbage but now I'm just thinking I'll be satisfied with the other series airing this season. |

| LOL, Slavery Contracts again. Why do almost all fantasy series always go this route with MCs? But I guess it's fine with how they made the MC out to be. And the other girl doesn't mind if MC actually did lewd... I think she actually wants it... The other girl seems to just be dragged in... And she's a "Miko" type, lol. Going for that fetish huh. . Why does it feel like by the end of this series... he's gonna put bunch of girls under his contract. So the series becomes a giant contract harem. . Also... I can already see all the H-doujins that spawn from this... |
