I didn’t say he had any control over that. I said it’s odd how Oomori sensei’s SECOND work gets more focus than his main production wise. You’d think the production committee would have a franchise as big as Danmachi on the best possible team.

we saw rosti throwing an ice shard at will to give him memory flashbacks and the flashback is mainly about his past with elfie so that is another hint that elfie is rosti

@deg Shame the animation was so bad compared to the rest of the anime. They picked the most important part we've seen so far to animated poorly.

@hikikodokumori I agree with your points. Adding my two cents, I think this is inevitable with outcasts in a magic school/ fantasy setting, you kind of need ass pulls to move it forward.

I liked the flashback but what the heck is his roommate doing 11 levels deep. I was so confused. He started off with the two professors presumably at base camp coming too late to rescue them and somehow made it before the professors did.

For the most part this was a great and exciting episode with some lore thrown in but I do agree compared to previous fights it seemed lacking in flashiness in parts. I also felt like they should've addressed the Evil Guards and Evil Sentinels not coming to help the Evil Grand Duke during the fight. Maybe they were too far away but it would've been nice to at least mention it somehow when they were discussing the plan.

It also would've been nice to address the remote barrier that stopped Liana's lightning attack. I don't think it activated again so I guess it was a one-time use spell?

Can't wait to see the next and last episode.

Holy smokes, that was some terrible writing. Bro took 3 business days to cast that Armenta Auliscas, damn. Also, why does Wignall want to die so bad? Docking one whole grade, from 7 to 6, due to that absolutely ridiculous physics-and-logic-defying glasses breakage. Them creating a mega sword for him last second, him knowing to grab it immediately after falling through the circle, Sion who is definitely weaker than Julius, trying to charge with his Byrdelion as if there's a chance to penetrate those iron wings. My goodness, who wrote this? As soon as he said wand can't do it and sword can't do it, it was obvious what needs to be done. I don't understand how I got so pissed at this episode, but here we are.

Edit: upon reading the rest of this thread, seems like I'm the only one and this was apparently a masterpiece.
