| What is this fantasy, WW1 looking anime?? lol went better then i expected, no rush and taking its time, Really great first episode, n i did play out really good, quite the funny episode as well having the little bit of serious in it ^^ Lol The invincible Lazy general, thats funny The OP has an soso first tunes in the sound but get seriously sugoi thru it all. Love the singers voice tho! but mostly it, maybe like later the more i heard it? also really good animation, Love the character design tbh. |

| Well, this wasn't the best start. Initial exposition and character background was done very badly and it almost felt like start of some RPG session. What were they doing, why, what purpose were those exams for, how exactly is war going, and so on, so on. Solid background and atmosphere is really something this anime is lacking, you don't throw viewer into middle of the story just hoping they would understand eveything. Also, MC is just schizophrenic ass that acts either as jerk or someone overly dependable, both extremes just felt pretty unnatural. In their conversations they were finding solutions to their problem yet nothing was left for portraying of their motivations. Well, they were planning just about everything it almost felt like pretense. So far it was just painfully average and the problem is if I don't like MC now, I won't probably like him even in the future. |

| Well, this is a sort of boring beginning first episode to what could seem like to be a cool anime but so far it's just introduction which is fine for a first episode. I hope it gets better though, I kind of like the idea. |

| What a colorful cast of characters. Not a bad start, nice art, feels just like a light novel adaptation. Maybe a tiny bit like Rokka no Yuusha. |

| Hm, kinda felt like they were trying to cram a bit too much into this episode >_< Didn't think the vocals fit the instrumentals too well in the OP - I liked them separately but they don't sound that good together. Too many names and characters D: I knew I recognized Ikta (Karma from AC) and Erina in the red-haired girl too though :P I like Ikta so far, no bias I swear XD The art is kinda meh, but I'm hoping there will be a good story - looks like we have some backstory and some military intrigue and political play as well. Not a huge fan of the young princess, but eh, we'll see how it goes :P |

| I really really liked Ikta, he's sarcastic and a womanizer which makes him really fun, I think Invincible Lazy General is the most appropriate title they could ever grant him xD. The lips in this anime are so weirdly visible, not used to that at all xD and what's up with these super-unpronounceable surnames the nobles have in the anime, I mean, what the fuck?? |

| The pacing seems pretty quick and the characters introduced so far don't have much spirit. but the storyline is usually always decent with a war a anime. The main Iski also seems pretty smart and is named a war general on the first episode so I'll be looking forward to watching him go through some war strategies. |

| This was an interesting start. The beginning of the episode was a bit confusing, since they just showed a bunch of info about their world and new characters without any explanation really, but things started to make sense further into the episode. The characters introducing themselves was a bit off for me, it didn't feel like a genuine conversation, you know? It seems like this anime will have lots of fanservice, which I don't really enjoy, but let's see. Overall, it was a bit generic sometimes, but I really liked the final part, and I'm curious to see how things work out after that last part, especially with the "revelation" that the main protagonist will be a great lazy warrior (even if he said earlier in the episode that he didn't want to be a warrior). I don't remember from where I heard this anime from, but it was on my Plan to Watch list for a long time, and I finally decided to give it a chance, and I'm not disappointed actually, it's good! Really curious to see what will happen in the next episode! The fact that that little girl was a princess all along was a bit surprising honestly, and I wonder what was she doing there in the first place. Edit: Also, Glad to see I'm not the only one that isn't liking the anime designs that much, they look a bit off. Also, the opening was good! |
