| They put a lot of pressure on Haruka. Tbh, I do think he has some leadership skills. Looks like Kaji and him has some drama already. For Haruka, he needs to control his emotions and lead by example. Feels like this is a buildup towards the season finale and potentially new season/arc. Kaji expressing all those emotions were not on my bingo card. |

But yeah, I really don't know where this show is going now that the Shishitoren arc is over. Looks like author is just going as he, well, goes lol. Knowing that another cour/season is coming after next weeks finale, wonder what it both could entail. |

| Finally, we are shown a little of the atmosphere of the neighborhood and the people who inhabit it. How the important people in Furin appear. Seeing how Sakura began to want to learn to be able to get to know and open up with friends was a cute sight, then how she got a little / no on her goal at Furin High School.  |
| Suo, Tsugeura and Kiryu, even Nirei supporting Sakura to be the Grade Captain, a class hierarchy like that definitely raise some hairs, as such with Ren Kaiji, Tamon Team's 2nd Year Grade Captain. Everyone in agreement with Sakura being the 1st Years' Grade Captain, and more contacts aside, Sakura is at a loss not knowing what to do. Instead, following Ren is the best choice to see what he does, and the tsundere gangster more than being afflicted by the class virtually, having to save a grandmother's pet cat with this much effort, Ren might've pushed his luck too much, but like Sakura, being chosen for the job that he did not want to do and ending up relying on his buddies of Enomoto and Kusumi, all Ren could do is to support them as a leader. And that's the same circumstance with Sakura leading the 1st Years. Kotoha being supportive of Sakura's growth as Grade Captain, he tries his best to get a hold of the class, starting by knowing each and every one within the class...something which Nirei already has his knowledge streak from memorizing everyone's names, which actually proves useful just in case Sakura doesn't know. Being jealous that both Suo and Nirei have something to do, Sakura is at a loss, though seeing Furin's Four Kings with their Secondaries, I can't help but feel for a big arc incoming for the next season. Where will the final episode next week take us? Read the manga then... |

| Pretty chill slice of life style penultimate episode here. Sakura being made grade captain seemed a bit too soon at first, but now that I think about it’s honestly perfect for his character development. His biggest flaw is his inability to connect with people and let his guard down. By making him grade captain he’s going to be forced to form close relationships, remember names and faces and fully integrate himself into the school. There’s more to becoming the strongest than just fighting, it’s getting lifted up by everyone else as Umemiya has told him repeatedly. You can’t do it alone. The cat chase scene had no business being as well animated as it was, lol. Leave it to Cloverworks and this show to make even the most mundane things look cool! Didn’t like Kaji being a smartass to the cat grandma though! Sakura getting all bashful when Kotoha told him to call her by name was so cute π bro wants to be tough so bad when he’s the sweetest thing on the inside. That ending with the four heavenly kings of the school reminded me of Tanjirou meeting the Hashira for the first time. Next episode should be a dope finale. Some of the designs of the kings look really cool. Like was that a skirt I saw?? Definitely gonna have some interesting personalities here. Hype for next week |

| Pretty wholesome and sweet stuff. Also imagine the surprise of that guy being a Okamoto Nobuhiko instead of the silent type. Like a complete 180 from the impression he gave. We already saw how athletic and nimble Sakura is and that cat chase once again showed of how flexible he is. Animation was great there. Good advice from Kotoha chan, she really knows what advice to give Sakura. It's always fun to see their character dynamics. The four king and their secondaries. Is that a guy dressed as a woman? |

| As soon as that granny described Rika only as wearing a pink ribbon, I knew Rika was a cat. Sakura's parkour was awesome tho, the wall jumping reminded me of Exit Path — I miss that game. It'd be cool if this anime got adapted into a video game lol. With Kotoha and the others encouraging Sakura to learn people's names and rely on others while also being someone who others can rely on, it's like the mangaka was writing this specifically for otakus who struggle to socialize. I also noticed it earlier with how Umemiya acted like a role model/mentor. Like, it would've been easy to just dish out another delinquent story, but this is a delinquent story that can actually help readers/viewers. Yeahh sry to be a moralist oop. I kept comparing Nirei to Takemichi but now Nirei is def better than Takemichi. Also, Sakura is justified in being first-grade captain while I wondered how Takemichi got that position, like just being in a specific place at a specific time. |

| So many negative comments about Wind Breaker in the thread but the show's got like a 7.8 I can't remember that kind of disconnect. I liked the episode. Nothing wrong with a little downtime after the battle tournament. I'm not sure rescuing cats is quite what I signed up for with this anime, but if it's animated to make it as damn awesome as this episode with Sakura parkouring through town I can't complain. Sakura gently getting pushed out of his comfort zone and making an effort because others are putting faith in him is all good, the fights are great but also like this part of the story. Love that the granny made him carry her ass across town and then got in on teasing him about being bashful. Vicious. Not sure about this high kings of Furin stuff. It sounds kind of stupid to me, but maybe it'll turn out interesting. |
They said Suou doesn't use his phone in front of people, yet he sent these messages when he is with Nirei and Sakura—I've read the manga but now I just realized about it. Though maybe Suou quickly put his phone right when Sakura look at him. Also, I didn't expect that all the Four Kings and the assistants make their first appearance this fast here.  When I saw the Anzai's scene, I was worried about the pace at first, but now I can predict (kind of) when will they end this anime so that scene might be their clue for next season... or I hope so. Well, talking about the end, next week is the last Wind Breaker Friday :( If they can't make it as long run I hope at least they consider for a second season. |

| @Teufel Tokyo Revengers scores are roughly in the same area for the seasons and the comments there are definitely much more brutal in negativity than this one so it's not that much of a surprise. Hell, Slime's been eviscerated for its meetings and that still is just barely below an 8. It's not that much of a surprise seeing the disconnects at times. |
Nah, ignore it Spoiler: those 2 accounts the one with random letters made a few days ago (the new account cycles every week) are all the same kid. One account posts early every week saying ridiculous things about WB to hopefully trigger people, one account “questions” their remark, and the new account tries to roast the first account. Imagine being that bored/unstable for a whole anime season π« |
