This is good stuff, Can't dislike it all all. It deliver exactly what a Delinquent anime should and it's good fights.

The anime definitely is a good mix of nice story, animation and amazing fights. Totally worth watching and imo better than Tokyo Revengers (yeah I said it :P )

Sorry, but the philosophy bit while fighting was super cringe. We know eyepatch is strong, at least we're supposed to believe, so using big words just to reaffirm that fact is totally not required.

By the way, these NPC's were really not it.

Maybe kind of random without context, but I love the metaphor. What he says here is: 俺と一緒に大人の階段登ろうか which means kinda "lets climb the stairs of an adulthood with me" as a question. <3

These are the world's shortest episodes.

I didn't think Choji would make this as a big of a deal as he did. He used a whole theater so that everyone could watch. Sugi is pretty badass and got super offended with the other guy didn't say Ume-san. At least the other guy got a hit in, unlike the guy after him. Sakura has respect for Sugi now.

Suou is a badass, but so brutal and cold-blooded. He didn't even have to hit the guy to make him look a fool.

Everyone needs to stop comparing this to Tokyo Revengers because that is nothing compared to this.

Jou looks insanely pissed.

Kinda crazy that all the underlings think they're hot shit because their leaders are strong.

Two rounds won and the crowd is dead silent. iI was expecting some gritty dogfights what is this? That was the most civilized fight ever. The animation was good and the scene design was even better having it at a sentimental location referred to as the cage had some substance behind it. Beyond that this episode really lacked proper fighting, I guess we’ve got two more left to go so can’t call it quits here.

The characters need some sort of caffeine, they all act monotonous and bland.

All Bofurin's boys are good so far, but what are those opponents? I don't wanna see fights and conflicts between great potential characters and mere NPCs, honestly. I really hope to see better opponents, so we won't see pearls being thrown before swine.
Also, Ryo Takahashi has made a marvelous soundtrack work. A Starting Sign is jamming on my mind since the last episode and his work on this episode was spot-on as well.
Quick and irrelevant memo: Suou catched my eye on him on this episode. He is not aesthetically pleasent for me, but he's being demonstrating such a likeble personality. I'll be admiring him from far.
Dunno. Dunno.

Suo's clearly received proper martial arts training, but he was able to show off coz he knew his opponent was weak yo begin with; all posturing & whatnot, but he lacked what it really takes to be a fighter.

WOW.. I like how Suou handled his fight very much, I like his character. Not only a very good fighter, but also a very good trash talker.

Furin overpowered the enemy in the first and second fight.
Suo reminds me of Shintarou Natsume.

This was a great episode. Moody Hair does a cool one-shot, Eyepatch Dude makes his opponent feel true fear through the words of "what it takes to be an adult". This little match between the the two schools is going great.

The blond guy is like the side characters in Beyblade that are here only to read info to make the battles more interesting lol. Anyway Suou is truly on another level, I didn't know that he has a sadistic side

he flexed so hard on him oof, also the whole imagination thing is real and as been proven with a prison study on a weird country i don't remember, they litteraly do not think the victim could be then or their family and bruteforcing it in their brain work better than the plain jail time.

Best episode so far. I'm happy with the way Suou handled that fight and the way he presented his argument of what a terribly anti-social, social club they have here. If you can't empathize with others, let alone your own mates you're not gonna go far in life. 3/5

I really thought they were leading them to a trap!

Apart from a few offensive moves Eyepatch-kun largely used Aikido against that guy. Aikido is a purely defensive martial art; you use the body of the opponent against them, and you always wait for them to strike first, as Eyepatch did.

Hence if two opponents used pure Aikido their fight would... never start, since none would attack first. So the attacker needs to break the no offence rule, i.e. 'adulterate' Aikido with another martial art, or simply crudely attack like that guy did.

Aikido makes far more sense when the Aikido-ka is paired with another martial artist. Aikido is purely for self-defence, and it's arguably the best at that; you're also trained how to disarm knife wielders and, at higher levels, even gun wielders (within ~2m / 6').
