A little spice is fine, but it should be decent enough to not blur the flavors.

Yeah, I like spicy food a lot. I think I might actually not be able to taste as well as other people because I've always liked putting lots of spicy stuff on my food lol

I dislike nose hot spicy, like horseradish and wasabi. I can handle mouth hot spicy, but my stomach doesn't like it. I need to quit eating peppers on an empty stomach.

i used to fear spicy and id say i dislike it in the past but once i got to eat some good ass spicy curry i had a breakthru and while crying form the pain i realized that the spice is essential and without it it wouldnt be as tasty
after that day i really did struggle with spice but i never gave up on building the tolerance and now its peak i need spice everywhere now i love it so much
i mean u could just try to get into it, i say the struggle at the beginning is really rewarding
i always disliked spicy food and i just couldnt fathom how could ppl enjoy it, but after the experience i had and coming to love it, i dont want others to be so deterministic, and just never ever try, its like ure missing out on such a colorful palette u know
at the beginning id even get annoyed "oh no it was too spicy again i wasted a good meal" but in hindsight i think that was ignorant, with each spicy meal i had i enjoyed it more and more, and i saw how id progressively add more and more spice and it just got exciting like im pushing my limits u know its fun
maybe u just need some really fkn good dish thats spicy, so ull find the suffering worth it
eat indian and thai food

I love spicy food. Condiments as well. Ghost Peppers and Carolina Reapers ftw. Curry made with a habanero curry paste is good, too.

Up to a certain degree, I can handle spiciness. However, sometimes, less is more
But with Western restaurants and their idea of spiciness, it's far easier compared to other cuisines that are more used to eating spicy foods

I not only "tolerate" it, I ADORE IT

Lots of my favorite meals are naturally spicy or are enhanced by spices. Give me a nice bowl of spicy curry chicken with some white rice, and I'll adore you FOREVER!

Yes, but I prefer it with a glass of water or other chilled drink when possible. Spicy food usually tastes good, but the burning sensation that lingers on the tongue after isn't pleasant.

I’m just going to copy and paste a previous comment I made on a similar thread since I’m lazy:

I LOVE spicy food, I eat spicy food almost regularly. Hot peppers is also a common thing for me to eat with said spicy food like curry.

The hottest thing I’ve had were habeneros which weren’t too spicy for me, and I’d like to progress into ghost pepper territory.

I mean there’s also a reason as to why I’m associated with the word “chili/chilli”.

The only kinds of spicy foods I've ordered are mild and medium levels of spiciness, and I can handle those quite well. I have tried extremely spicy stuff before in the past that got me tearing up and needing milk really badly, but I don't know how many Scoville Heat Units there were for those.

@kusairo Well primarily it is that but the “chili/“chilli” originated as a joke because of both my love for spice and my sometimes heated temper which stuck with me lol

I like the pun and it’s a silly add-on to my character but goodness does it show up often (¬‿¬)

If it's some Asian authentic dish, I prefer it to be as hot as hell. When it comes to Western cuisine, certainly not.

Some Mediterranean dishes can work with spiciness. I mean Spain's arroz con something dishes can work with spicy additives, for example.

By spicy, if it means Indian level of spicy, so yeah I can tolerate it in moderation and love it! Too much spice makes the food unpalatable and then I spend more time chugging water than eating lol.

At some point it's like pepper spray.

@MalchikRepaid yeah those are the best tasting types of peppers. Jalapenos have kind of a lame taste outside the hotness.

But the underlying flavor on some kinds of pepper is genuinely 10/10. Bell peppers are good but not at the top.

Also sichuan peppercorns help me handle spicier food than i could otherwise lol, with the numbness.

I eat spicy food everyday and I look hardly a day over 25. Weenie, you're just hating.

I can eat Cajun, Japanese, Mexican and Indian food no problem.

I have spicy food to thank for getting rid of runny rose every other day.
