| @Goblingaming steins gate 0 is a weird anime. It has some of the highest peaks out of any show that I have ever seen. At it's best, it's not exactly worse than the peak of the original steins;gate. but it also has a lot of problems. and I do mean A LOT. One scene you're thinking this is the dumbest shit I have ever seen, and the 5 minutes later it hits you with peak fiction. So idk, If you're a steins;gate fan, I think it's definitely worth it, cause all the elements that connect to the original are the "peak" parts. Everything else is mostly just a part of 0s story. Unless you are talking about steins;gate as a whole, to which yes you should definitely watch at least the original. SPECIALLY if you're a sci-fi mystery fan. The start is relatively uneventful and has a decent amount of slice of life moments, but I for one liked those parts just as much as the more "exciting" parts of the story. It's a complex story that isn't confusing, and is a complete emotional roller coaster. And since I see that you're newer to anime, It is worth mentioning that steins;gate also has one of the best dubs in the entire industry, so if you want to check it out in english, it's more than viable. It's my favourite anime, and I actually preffer the dub myself. |
