| With Yamauchi gone, his seat and desk included, it definitely is Arisa securing her votes for him in retaliation of his bad behaviour, a simple payback time. With the school's new acting chairman Tsukishiro, he's the new character who'll foil the plans between Arisa and Ayanokouji, especially for the latter with a warning from his father. That being said, they continue their bet and make sure of their rivalry first, before going straight for the school's board. The final special exam, which attributes for 5 out of 10 subjects in a class's paper shuffle that the school will select 7 subjects from there between two classes, forcing the team captain to be expelled is yet another way for the school to force Ayanokouji's hand. And true as indeed, he willingly becomes the sacrifice due to the protection point as Suzune objectively pushes him to the role...and this is likewise with the other classes: Arisa, Honami and Class 1-D's Kaneda, which he avoids a bloodbath with Arisa's class to seal their rivalry with Ayanokouji's class, the result of which is already rigged beforehand. It's time to choose the subjects, though Hirata is still the same as he is, and Koenji still is a pro for being a smartie. For Ayanokouji to invite Kei into his place (which is rare), he privately gives her a present: a heart-shaped necklace, though she'll continue to be loyal to him. And given the disparity of the Horikitas, their relationship has improved from the last since Season 1, though that is still up to Ayanokouji to change her, or if she feels like doing so. Of course, the possibility of Ayanokouji and Suzune dating was never in the mind, not even back then. One of those topics: Chess, it'll come back to bite both Arisa and Ayanokouji... |

| This series is never short of terrible people, huh...the protagonist included. The new chairman would now be on my shitlist to ruin if I were Ayanokouji or Arisu. Missed opportunity to spit in his face as an "answer" to his demand. |

| A lot happening in this episode and I love seeing Ayanokouji being targeted by his father, getting out of that can't be as easy as what he's doing in school. I like seeing angry Sakayanagi or at least Sakayanagi without her smug and that scene was very interesting, I wouldn't mind those two fighting a common enemy, but it's going to be a while until that happens. Yess, Hirata getting some development, even if his view on the expelling problem was dumb. However at this point there must be more to his thought process and I can't wait to see what happens with him. Same goes for Kouenji, last episode he had a good moment but he's still Kouenji. Also I don't want Manabu gone, he's probably my favorite character after Ayanokouji and seeing these 2 together is hype. |
