| Tohru and Nyanko-sensei are the oldest. Chi Yamada is the youngest since she's just a little kitten. 6/10 of my favorite characters are ~13-17 years old.  |

| Maybe about 14 or maybe not even human, ages from 15-18, ages from maybe 15-35, maybe about 10, seems to be high school girl but actually super-old, some teacher age, I think 17-18, maybe about 14, ages from 12-26, no idea. So a pretty good mix. |
| Mine vary from around 16 - 19 (those that I actually know of their age anyway). But then I have the likes of Rin who's 150, a ghoul and also a literal Dinosaur. |

| A lot of people will say it's "sus" to have a favorites list like mine comprised of characters aged 17 or younger. But this is ANIME: the vast majority of characters worth a damn are teenagers. But nah... it's those users who have only adults who are the truly sus ones. It's like when you ask someone what their favorite movie or song is and they answer beethoven or some french arthouse cinema. You just know they're lying! | I watch a lot of shows with adult cast (I'm an adult, I just relate more to those characters). So my favorite characters are generally in their 20s-40s or are supernatural immortal beings with adult-like appearances. There are of course some exceptions, like Chihiro and Sophie (Ghibli), Asirpa (Golden Kamuy), Hyakkimaru (Dororo), and Chito (Girls' Last Tour). |
| The youngest is Daidouji Tomoyo at 10 and the oldest is Moesaki Ichigo who's in her early 20s, so pretty narrow range of ages and pretty young (most are around 15). |

| I say my average is like 20 yrs. The youngest of my fav is Anya from Spy x Family, and my oldest fav being 40. Lots in their 20s, some in their teens but they were my favs from when I was a teen so its mostly nostalgia. So mainly adults yea. Rarely do I like kids in anime, they are always so annoying. |
| I generally don't care about the cast's age as long as the story itself is fun to follow. But as for the specific range, the median would probably fall somewhere in high school simply by virtue of the majority of anime being centered around school aged kids. |
