| I guess you could argue all of them, and I say that as a big shounen anime fan. Shounen is definitely the "Marvel" of anime, large fandom and similar story with all projects. But honestly, who the hell cares. If you don't like something that is popular that's fine. You don't have to try convince other people it's bad to make yourself feel better. |

| As someone who watched all of Demon Slayer (what's currently aired that is), I would say that most of the story is hard-carried by studio Ufotable. |
| AoT (straight up mediocre, aside from the Marley arc which at least was edgy kind of fun) Gintama (not funny and the serious arcs aren't that good either) Bleach (proof that literally any low rated anime would end up in MAL top 100 if you embellish it a bit) |

| I think Fmab is i liked it but ngl i got bored towards the end, and while the characters do develop I feel like Ed and Al don't change that much, and the villain was mid. I prefer the older one which most ppl consider worst. Also I think HXH is overrated yeah its good, hell its better than fmab imo but still it is not a 9 lol, maybe like 7.5 or 8.0 barley. Also AOT, Demon Slayer and the worst offender of them all is MHA, it has literally everything wrong imo, boring characters that don't develop, paper thin plot, no conflict, low stakes, virtually no theme other than friendship and determination ig? but even then it kinda falls flat. Like I cannot name one good thing about MHA the real score imo is a 4. Most Shonen are overrated it seems. |
| Not really a matter of score in this case since it's not rated that well around here, but Naruto is essentially the most overrated shonen anime ever due to it still being incredibly popular even now almost 10 years after the source material ended; even folks who aren't anime fans at least know who the main characters are. It's among the easiest series to get into because it's so incredibly generic and simple to understand and people can watch it without having to think too much about the plot. And I say this even as a moderate fan of the series myself. |

| for me its bleach, i can see why ppl like it, you know the nostalgia factor, cool fights, it certainly has hype moments, cool designs, but for me neither of those would make me enjoy a meh plot and a list of really one dimensional characters. |

| Most (not all) are overrated, just to different degrees. the biggest degree by far though is demon slayer imo. Demon slayer s2 being above shit like vinland saga, made in abyss and end of evangelion should be a crime. if production value and hype is all is all it takes, then why are we all ok with redline not being in the top 10? listen, love or hate em, you can not deny demon slayer is far less unique and creative than every other major shounen title that i can think of. and THAT is why it being so high bothers me. its not even a mushoku tensei case where the show gave birth to a lot of the tropes, it just chooses to actively play by them. its as safe as safe gets, and it is almost entirely for that, that its popularity bothers me. That and i also i will never stop being salty over it winning BEST FUCKING FANTASY, FROM MADE IN ABYSS!! |

| Probably almost all. I like a lot of them, but really, I can't like Jujutsu Kaisen, think overrated, I tried to watch Season One 2x, dropped the movie and the second season is on-hold. |

Chainsaw man, everyone said that shonen was revolutionary but it seemed like a pretty average series to me.

| I agree on Spy X Family It still gets a lot of fanfare but it doesn't really take it's premise anywhere anymore. Anya pulling faces and saying wakka wakka. Yor being clueless and lusted over and Loid is just third billing character wise now when arguably he's the most interesting character |
