The coming-of-age story of the Yuzuki Family: 4 brothers who lost their parents, they have to live by each other: the oldest of Hayato, the second son of Mikoto, the youngest of Gakuto and the third son of Minato. Together with their next-door opposite neighbour of siblings Uta and Waka, all 4 brothers attend the same school with Mikoto and Minato being in the same grade (though born 11 months apart), and Hayato being the teacher-cum-parent figure. Clearly, both Minato and Mikoto are close to each other, and wanting to participate in the usual fireworks festival, the two of them went ahead without them, leaving brothers Hayato and Mikoto to go find them, which after all of the craze, they manage to find Gakuto, and the 4 brothers are able to enjoy the fireworks together. From meals to daily life surrounding them, this is a rather nice feeling of just slowing down and soaking in the feelings, But Crunchyroll, fix your AI subs or whatever, it doesn't make sense and is shit. |

| This is why crunchyroll needs more competition. These subtitles are a disgrace. Luckily I was able to understand most things with my JP knowledge, but this is truly embarrassing. As for the show itself. “Life without parents is hard, but there’s nothing we can do. There’s no resurrection” 😢 really a beautiful story of family pulling together after unimaginable loss. I mean losing both parents is just devastating. This reminds me of Otonari ni Ginga’s set up with an older brother trying to provide for his siblings. I can’t imagine how difficult that is on one teacher’s salary at 23.. At least the parents left them a massive house so that bit is sorted. Really nice introductory episode that gave us some insight into all the boys. Lot of different personalities in this one. I’m all for a nice family oriented slice of life, particularly with all young men trying to make it through life in such difficult circumstances. “Mom, dad, even though we fight, our relationship is still strong. Please watch over us in heaven 😢” that fireworks ending scene was beautiful! I think this’ll be another contender for hidden gem of the season along with 16bit and Dali to Magli. |

| I can’t finish the episode let alone rate this until there’s a fansub or fresh hiring of translators at Crunchy. I can understand a decent amount of Japanese but I still lean on subs cause it feels more like you’re [watching a manga] you know? BUT WTF HOLYYYY these were so horrific that I had to shut the episode off. Over the last year, Crunchy subs have slowly declined in terms of grammar and accuracy, though they were still obv better than Netflix’s “im gonna totally rewrite this scene via subs” translators and HIDIVE’s shtty font/size/lack of drop shadow/placement. But this…? Someone who learned English using Duolingo could’ve done a better job. First-time webtoon scanlators using an app to translate would’ve done a better job. I’m almost afraid to watch the rest of this week’s shows on Crunchy, and idk if I’ll ever be able to watch this. Massive L |

| Damn it bad subs nooooooooooooooo. It's bad when I think I could even translate better from my little Japanese knowledge. I hope it gets better subs because it can really ruin the impact of scenes when I'm trying to parse what the characters actually said. Aside from that, I like this so far. Simple and cute art style. I like the brothers dynamic. It's funny how in these series the youngest one seems the most mature. |

@Halo_s_Maze It is getting a decent amount of buzz online so hopefully CR fixes it. It makes me wonder how many times something like this has gone unnoticed though. Bad subs are one thing but these are an embarrassment.

| If they keep up this subtitle quality throughout it’s airing, they are going to lose a ton of people just off of that alone. It was too distracting and hard to watch honestly, but I did enjoy the content itself. Hopefully they fix this by next week. |
| Nice start. I was expecting a comedy about 4 brothers. This gives me a feeling similar to Gakuen Babysitters mixed with 3-gatsu. |

| Heartwarming. I really liked it, but the subs will do it in. Sony seems to be experimenting AI. I will drop it if the next episode has similar issues.. A great example of when poor subtitles are done for a wonderful show. |

| I swapped to german subtitles after 3 minutes. So gladly, I could actually enjoy the show. And I'm kinda happy about the drama because this is perhaps the best way for this show to gain popularity. "Came for the Subs, stayed for the show", perhaps? About the actual content: I really liked it. It's not really Iyashikei like Cool Doji Danshi due to the harsh reality of the parents' deaths and Hayato being overworked. But it does have a really positive atmosphere and the way the kids are portrayed is heartwarming. It was also pretty funny at times. The character dynamic should also provide a good amount of enjoyable Slice of Life content. I'm looking forward to what they come up with! |
| Hmm, based on some dialogues I've read of the Eng subs some guy just made a literal translation for the Spanish subs. Well, at least you can understand everything that happend based on the context, but if this keeps happening in next episodes guess I'll read the manga someday. Anyway, I had a good impression on this anime. |
