You know, watching this really didn't feel like a movie, its like watching a new season of regular series, and thanks to such great expierence everything felt natural and where it had to be.

Movie itself was really really great, the amazing combination of romance and comedy continues to really impress me.

Loved the split personalities and masks of Kaguya along with the amount of character development she recieved, she really has grown to become an outstanding female character and moving forward we might witness something special towards the end. The kiss scene is always great to see specially when it has built up towards it.

All the supporting characters are also amazing as always, this just feels like a prime example of how romcom supporting cast should be done and fuction, happy to see even Shirogane's dad make an appearance.

It's a little bit questionable why they decided to release this in movie format along with attack on titan who did the same at similar months. Maybe they really wanted to make a christmas special because it matches the adapting manga arc theme.

Overall i'm really pleased can't wait for season 4, no matter how long it takes

Loved their confessions and kisses at the end of the date when they broke through all of the crap they had been dong
Was surprised to see the scene between Ishiyama and Tsubame  as the end  In the manga it was very important Not hidden in the shadows

This movie reminds me how much I love this series, very good adaptation.
After 3 seasons and 1 movie they finally started dating, and Kaguya became more aggressive lol, I hope A1-pictures adapts this series to the end

Finally finished the Kaguya-sama movie and it was a perfect from start to finish. After finally getting their stubbornness out of the way, Kaguya and  Shirogane have finally become a couple by being real with one another. Hopefully, Ishiyama will get a happy ending too, but I don't think it will be with Tsubome. It will be with Iino instead. It will probably be a while before we see a Season 4 as A1 Pictures has their hands full with Mashle(2 cours) and Solo Leveling which I think is coming out next year.

10/10

3/4's of the movie felt like a 6 or 7/10 because it felt like we were back to S2 again, and all their progress in S3 was reversed. However, the final scenes redeemed it. They kissed not only once but twice! Isn't that sweet? Also, their acceptance of each other's faults is one of their best progress.
I prefer the cold version of Kaguya. However, she's still not in the top 3 best waifus in the show, IMO.
I hoped to see more Ishigama x Tsubame x Miko love triangle scenes. I find their romance more interesting than the main one.
In the scene of Tsubame being pushed on the bed by a guy, is that Ishigama? or someone that looks like him?
Is this the conclusion of the series? I hope there's a S4. I want to see how Ishigama's romance concludes and the challenges Miyuki & Kaguya will face as they confront the final boss, Kaguya's dad.

That was kinda toxic af tbh. It had a happy ending at least but I think these two need therapy before they start focusing on dating like jfc. Kaguya was awful for a large part of this movie. Yeah her upbringing was bad but that's why she really needs therapy lmao. Listening in on Miyuki's conversation with the doctor (and also Hayasaka as well like wtf) is actually super fucked up. And the real kicker is this whole thing probably wouldn't have happened if Hayasaka didn't spew dumbass falsehoods about a "real kiss" being basically sex.

interesting to have this divided into 4 episodes. honestly i hate watching movies and liked that i could just watch a couple episodes and come back later to finish the rest.

there were a few parts where i just kept thinking to myself 'how long are they gonna stretch this out for?' but then again i had been thinking this to myself throughout the other seasons lol. it was still an enjoyable watch and i'm so happy for miyuki and kaguya :) very very satisfied with how this turned out for them.

that part at the end with ishigami though????

I have some mixed feelings about the movie.
I feel like it's been a while since I got back to Kaguya and... after I've watched a lot of shows that are more subtle, seeing the overly detailed explanations about the concept of persona really threw me off. I think explaining the concept of persona is unnecessary, instead it would be better to just say that Kaguya was used to hiding her true self. I feel like I understand now the complaints of people regarding Akasaka's writing with him explaining too much.

But anyway. While I love the concept of lovers who don't hide their true selves and are vulnerable with each other, Akasaka is being a hypocrite. Kaguya was shown Miyuki's weaknesses and she rarely liked any of them. Even in this arc she was criticizing him for being spineless and how he should basically man up and kiss her. What the hell. I feel like it's a concept that the author did not fully understand himself and used instead as a buzzword.

Not to mention the characters seeing Kaguya's behavior as relatable. Is it??? I feel like it's something that Maki could maybe relate to, but it's not something that happens often with women. While making hints to hold hands is imaginable, insulting and degrading and then avoiding is not a relatable behavior. Being aloof around someone you love? I think it's probable when mild, but not to the extend that Kaguya did.

The jokes... Idk, maybe my tastes in jokes changed over time, because I thought a lot of them were just too over-the-top. But I laughed at Shirogane thinking Kaguya's sighing because she was thinking about the male privilege. It was unexpected, I forgot that Kaguya-sama can sometimes be rather progressive.

But I loved the quietness and stillness of their kiss in the park. I think it was a bit cheesy when they added those sparkling lights and music later. Too much in-your-face.

I also enjoyed Shirogane having anxious attachment and Kaguya having (probably) avoidant attachment. Shirogane's case is more definitive, Kaguya's is less. Then again having them resolved in a single arc is quite stretched, but it's fiction -- I should just let it be. I liked especially Kaguya's reminscenting about the past.

While I did enjoy this arc in the manga, after revisiting it I feel like it's kinda... meh. The concept itself is fine, just the execution is a bit too forced and unnecessary at times.

6/10 just for the sake of my attachment to characters, overall enjoyment was like 3 or 4.

Come confession time, I initially felt a bit disappointed. Compared to Ultra Romantic, it was very anticlimactic and betrayed my expectations for an even bigger scheme that I was waiting to watch unfold. I'll admit I had to pause and ponder on it. Ten minutes later, I could feel the tears rolling down and I was left smiling stupid. I actually love how average this ended up being. The straightforward confession fits the theme it was building up to so much better. Rather than putting on airs or hatching elaborate plans, it was just about these two imperfect lovebirds finally shedding their masks to create an ordinary connection. Looking at it now, I'm glad we never saw the ultra romantic kiss at the festival. It makes seeing their new "first kiss" even more heart racing.

This movie was a constant rollercoaster between the hilarious antics I've come to love & the more vulnerable emotions that emerge between Kaguya & Miyuki. I think it hits especially harder since I could touch base with Kaguya feeling wretched about her true self. Even now, I can't bring myself to completely open up to those closest to me in my life and I highly doubt I'll ever meet someone who will fully accept the real me. While it's a lonely thought, this movie still manages to strike a nerve that lifts my spirits and encourages me to learn how to live with my own imperfections regardless.

9.5/10. That end scene with Tsubame & Yuu has me C-U-R-I-O-U-S AF, but I'll restrain myself from diving into the manga and hope this means there's more to come.

Episodes 1 and 2 were good but the whole personality disorder was very farfetched and although it was portraited as deep and potentially scarring, it ended up being solved in a very lazy way and the characters reverted to their old "end of season 3" selves, aka, no consequences at all.
Also, it feels like most of episodes 3 and 4 were just dealing with something that was manufactured just to have it in but to me it fell flat, maybe if they haven't overblow the issue it would have been fine or if it was that serious then it should have a proper build up, development and conclusion.

Sadly there was no build up, Kaguya just goes temporarily back to her pre season 1 self, because that personality was "the first one", that's it, all she had done to better herself was treated for a moment as if it was a "loss of personality". The personality doesn't even last long enough to make an impact but it does make further development  very confusing and contradictory to what she says/monologues, from asking for advice then proceeding to overtax Shirogane regardless, to feeling guilty and flawed, to realizing she can actually try to not be so blunt.
In the end she ends up as she was before this entire needless entity crysis began and she gets what she wanted all along thus making all this drama sequence redundant in a series I would classify as being well paced and straightforward with the typical BS that makes characters feel cheap and manufactured.

The conclusion at least gives us back our characters : a "end of season 3" Kaguya with more control over her emotions(if he inner deamons are believed to have really found peace) and initiative and a Shirogane that is more lax when he has no reason to push himself to his limit.

Tsubasa will keep the tradition going, don't you worry doctor grandpa;)

After the absolute peak which was the third season, it's rather easy to doubt, IF the follow-up will match those same heights? Though not really, if that something is Kaguya sama.

Ice kaguya was already good as it was back in the manga, but the adaptation as usual made that 'g' in "good" evolve into the 'g' in "great". And hey we got a second kiss as well... according to the norms this time around lol. But, jumping to the meat part wasn't as easy as it sounded. Kaguya and Shirogane both have instabilities, even the ones they don't want the other to know about. This movie is their journey of fighting through those instabilities, accepting the not-so-favourable side of each other and still loving the way they always used to.

Tusbame and Ishigami will get their side of the story too, as the ending atleast did warrant that. So just a matter of time we see a fourth season sort of.

Matching season 3 is a huge task, but still it won't make this any lesser than a nine. Though just wish I should've watched this earlier, as it's been out for months now lol.

9/10.

The Story is beautiful and engaging, how a small incident between lovers can become a dangerous mission that will need all the war tactics is truly amazing. This Movie deserves to be applauded for every second of its runtime. Truly a masterpiece.

If you like a girl and she acts the way "Ice Kaguya" does, just turn and walk away. That type of behavior is annoying and not cute here and it's even more annoying and less cute in real life. Don't put up with the mind games. She might not have some sad backstory that'll try to justify that behavior.

I love how they included some manga panels toward the end. This adaption continues to be none other than pure class. People were right; this ice queen arc was just beautiful. Of course we all want more- but even if the adaptions were to end here, I would be satisfied.

My favourite couple is back

It’s kind of hilarious that Kaguya didn’t realize her kiss was too inappropriate for that stage of their relationship

The tree scene was adorable, I love those two. I just want them to be happy already dammit.

Oh my gosh the ending was beautiful. They kissed again!!

It's an excellent movie and stays on the same wavelength as the last three seasons, which are always enjoyable and exciting to follow, especially with the consistently intense psychological warfare! The episodic format by Crunchyroll doesn't bother me.

That was very depressing, you'd think after the kiss everything would lighten up, but hey, they did by the end of this showing.
The amount of growth they both went through during this episode is astronomical.

Got tired of waiting for it to either come to cinemas or crunchyroll and decided to pirate it. What can I say is amazing and funny as always. Author definitely matured with the progress of the series and put some interesting topics for romance no other anime likes to touch on. Solid 9/10, though not as strong as previous entries due to runtime obviously

A rubbish film. A cruel, idiotic, cold, malicious Kaguya is present in a horrible script that does not dignify the series, but ends it with contempt for the work. I feel sorry for the president for falling in love with such a despicable character. If one day I praised Kaguya, I now withdraw my praise. If I once praised this author, I now withdraw my praise.

Holy fuck, bro!!!!!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️ The dub just came out today and I just watched all 4 episodes and dude did this movie make me feel butterflies. So fuckin' peak and awesome!!!!! They finally confessed to each other and shared their beautiful heartwarming kiss. Bruv, I actually wanted to cry tbh but I just had to hold myself. There's 123 chapters left to adapt. This movie adapted up to chapter 158. Please A-1 Pictures, don't take too long in giving us another season. Cause from my own POV, 2 seasons and a movie are supposed to wrap it all up. Overall, this movie was beautiful, spectacular and stupendous. Tbh, I wish I was in Miyuki's show. I'd love to experience true love like that especially since I'm in love with Ai.😂♥️ But truly, this was peak. 10/10.♥️

the only thing that bugged me about this movie was seeing that scene with Ishigami and Tsubame and then being left with no context afterwards, I can only hope this show gets another season and they actually show everything that happened leading up to that part but who knows. I honestly liked this movie more than the previous season though which I did not expect
