Not a new season but I'll take it! This probably means we'll get a full adaptation eventually.

I haven’t read the manga, but from what I’m seeing others say, this kv is showing stuff from the final arc, which would mean they’re skipping over 100 chapters and ending the show with this tv special. If so, that’s a bit disappointing. I know people say it falls off after the arc adapted in the movie, but I still would’ve liked to see it all animated regardless. But at least it’s getting an ending I guess. More than what can be said for most adaptations, tbf

Wait, is that true? Man, that’s such a disappointment. I was really hoping they’d adapt the whole story. I didn’t read the manga exactly because I wanted to see it animated.

It doesn't really fall off, I really don't get it. I enjoyed it all the way. And I don't think it's gonna end with this special. I hope so because that'd make no sense.

@Mando727 red the manga. From the description an from the poster it really looks like they are skipping like 80-90 chapters. It really falls of, but that just means that it's not as good as 1st half. And it also has good moments. So i am really puzzled about their decision. Like, i can't imagine how they will close all the arcs in 1 movies. Or maybe they will try to adapt all 130 remaining chapters. Either ways that is weird.

We're tired of incomplete, rushed, or skipped adaptations. Don't be surprised if people turn to Chinese or Korean anime.

So this isn't an anime original plot, or the next few chapters like the movie, but rather an adaptation of some of the final chapters, skipping over 100 chapters? Sheesh. Years of silence for this

Yep I have read the manga. I can say for sure that after the previous season I felt the story going a complete transformation from a rom-com to romance drama. I didn't like it in the begining but after reading like 50 more chapters I loved how all the characters( I mean very few authors gives character developement to most of the side characters) were being developed and given their own ending. To me it's a perfect 10.


On a side note I read kaguya loved it so I went and read oshi no ko.It was refreshing to to read akasaka going for a dark theme. But never have I ever thought it would give me PTSD every time I see that title or any of its characters after that *sh*t* you call an ending.

Yeah, I’ve heard some pretty terrible stuff about the Oshi no Ko ending. I think I’ve seen a spoiler for it, but I don’t actually know if it’s true or not since I’m anime-only. I at least hope the anime will change the ending, because I am loving the show so far

@Sacola-san well this is nothing new since kaguya sama tv anime series was already adapting arcs out of order every season and skipped a lot of other arcs also. If the flow and how they will be adapting manga creatively and if these two will be good, I'm fine with that.
