| This episode was so oversold. Last one hyped it to all hell only for Satoru to come and end everything with a flick of a finger, and it was done off screen as well with ending revealed after the fact. Anticlimactic I would say. Not sure why everyone was so upset with my complaints of bad cliff hanger last episode. This could have easily be fitted in a single episode if there were no fillers. Animation still feels off at moments. |

| -Geto v Toji was great. Amazing background animation and they gave Geto a lot more to do with his curses. Storyboard for that part was amazing as well where Toji is being obscured by all the doors to reinforce the point about him being invisible. -Compositing was extra good this week. Best looking JJK episode tbh. -Gojo's comeback was great and the way the light shines on him is awesome. His iconic panels from the manga are better overall tho -Gojo v Toji. Was good. Especially like how they adapted Purple and the transition to Toji being mutilated is perfect. Would've liked if they could have extended it though. They extended the Geto fight when they didn't have to so it would've been cool if they did it for this fight too. Oh well... -Aftercredits was amazing and seeing Gojo/Geto metaphorically separated was tragic. 9/10. Think last episode was little better but this was top notch |

| After the terrible done previous episode I should have expected no more from this episode. Gojo returning from the thing that obviously didn't kill him because this is a flashback and then becoming edgy was hilarious but in a pretty bad way and then proceeds to overpower the guy who defeated him without many problems the previous episode. |

| I have conflicting feelings about Toji; his sheer strength is undeniably impressive, though I dislike him. Swallowing that cursed magic item bag was quite a wild move. He seemed to be toying with Geto during their so-called 'fight'. Gojo's reputation as the strongest sorcerer is well-deserved. Although he may have been affected by 'Death,' I appreciate his slightly mad and transcendent demeanor. Now it's Toji's turn to face the consequences. Messing with the most powerful sorcerer comes with a price. It's a relief that Gojo was able to retrieve Riko's body. The cultists were oblivious to how close they were to being wiped out. It's interesting to see Geto intervening, but it appears that something is changing within him. This might be the point where he starts heading down a darker path. |
