| We talk about all these animes and mangas that we all love so much, their characters, their character development, the world-building, the pacing and all other fancy words but in the end it's just a beautiful story which has left such a great impact on us. These authors single-handedly create such beautiful worlds and characters, they literally create whole people and their life for us from every little habit, to the way of talking, walking etc. and they are just not talked about enough. I know just talking about the series and their characters is same as talking about the author in a way but we should show them more appreciation I guess? I mean it just seems such an astronomical feat to me that a person alone thought everything up. I won't hide this and my sudden desire for appreciation comes from the fact that I recently finished watching Oregairu and when I see just how complex and beautiful that series is, it makes me awe-struck that a single person with the help of editors was able to pull this off. Such beautiful imagery, ideas, philosophies, messages, the perfect caputure of an anti-social teen's mind (while being an adult himself), adding the perfect amount of comedy, puns, sadness, drama while still keeping the story gripping also the use of sub-texts which makes everyone's heads spin. Just how big-brained Wataru Watari-san is? I know this isn't the first author who has achieved such a feat but it was this anime which made me think about authors like this, before this I never once thought about authors and their brilliant feats of creating these worlds but Oregairu made me appreciate that. I finished Oregairu less than a day ago and I'm already planning on reading the LNs and to show my further appreciation I'm going to buy at least one LN volume as well. I hope you guys can also share some series and expereinces which made you really marvel at the author. edit: just ordered vol 1🗿 |

My favorite author that i love and cherish is Daimaou K, the author of Haevest. |
Kazuo Umezu's stories are so outlandish I can hardly believe they were written by a human being. I won't be the slightest bit surprised when he reaches his 100th birthday in perfect health. |
