| If you think the hate for this show is bad, just visit the Attack on Titan forums for Season 4 Part 1 and Part 2. It generated multitudes more "hate" than I've seen for this show, especially this season. There's been a handful of threads criticising S3 on here since it started a month ago. For a really popular battle-shonen, Demon Slayer has gotten off lightly so far this season imo. |

By "defending it like the fanboy you are" I mean exactly that, I've seen you defending it in previous seasons a lot and I know what type of fanboy you are, you were simply itching for a fight here, otherwise you would just suck it up and move on. And no, I won't argue with you about how bad the comedy is so I can let it out and move on, I see shit comedy and I will complain about it, simple, if you notice the episode 4 thread, I barely complained there since the comedy was short there so I let it slide, I was actually praising the episode and even defending it since I thought the episode was good despite the "uninspiring" action scenes on that episode, I haven't watched episode 5 yet, I will watch it in a couple of minutes and if I find the episode good I will praise it as well. As I said, I praise the things I like and shit on the things I dislike, give me episodes with no comedy and you will most likely see me praising the shit out of this anime. Very minimal comedy this episode so maybe you'll be happy with it. (: |

There are flaws the show have that people have noticed and they do have the voice the express their opinion. As someone who enjoyed season one until two, it's just a little disappointing how this season is being directed. |

This arc is IMO the weakest one from those longer ones, so it is understandable why people have such impression. Next one will be a breather arc and after that we will be eating really good. |

They just can't stand that their favorite shounens often turn into trash piles. The truth is most of this is rooted in sexism because DS's author is a girl, that's why they hate on it. It isn't more complex than that. DS is actually extremely logical, unlike Naruto and AOT's lack of clear lore and poor second act, or MHA abusing its side characters like Naruto. Meanwhile DS is a modern classic, they're bitter and salty, just ignore them. They're rage clicking because they lost the war. |
| There's a lot of people including myself that think it's overrated, but that doesn't directly mean it's them shitting on the show. At the end of the day Kimetsu no Yaiba is a basic ass story that anybody could come up with. It's popularity is most definitely carried with it's stellar production. You'd think after saying that I would "Hate" the show, but I find it enjoyable. It's a simple anime to turn your brain off to and watch, just like Chainsaw Man. |

| casual watcher, binged the entire series straight over a month i like to stay away from drama stuff and just go my own pace. i do agree this season is prolly the weakest, partly because the 2 hashiras werent as flamboyant as rengoku or uzui (ba dum tsk). or is it the fact that tanjiro is getting better and becoming as shiny? IDK, def not as shiny as the 1st 2 hashiras, but def more shiny than muichiro. the upper moons were pretty weak compared to the red light district too im an old school gamer, been gaming since Y2K, IDC about shiny graphics, i just want gameplay. this season of KNY didnt have that good of a story IMHO, but it did explore some of the characters. i used to not like genya, thought they were going to flop him for being disrespectful in S1, turns out he was likeableish. now for the wind and snake hashiras, i dont like em, but in guessing id like em after they start to shine this was rinsed and repeat in KMY, along with the rehab after the major fights, which most people spoiled already. even i could guess we were prolly getting a rehab again, but i didnt guess it was an arc LOL easy to eat story line, shiny battles, sometimes an emotional rollercoaster, a pretty good well balanced diet of an anime. from a casual watchers POV, yeah its a fun ride |
