| You have to feel pity for Maru, getting rejected by being told his crush has a male personality inside her. As for the flashback, I don't think it was the best idea for Haruki to try and fight the Man-eater alone, which led to Kiriko's personality death. It's tragic that he had to deal with the loss of his beloved sister in such a way. |
| Kiruko's backstory was even more messed up than I realized. That plot twist was crazy. Kiruko was not lying about having the mind of a man. She was originally Hakuri. Poor Hakuri man. He just wanted to kill off the monster that was disrupting his sister's race. However, the monster ended up eating a chunk outta Hakuri. I wondered what the surgeon was thinking during the operation. Did Hakuri's sister voluntarily offer up her brain for the brain transplant transfer? What a tragic turn of events. |

| Pretty interesting backstory episode. Would have been more engaging without the incest and the kid masturbating while being in his dead sister's body but guess this is one of those seinen stories where the author can go ham with their fetishes and shit. Kinda reminds me of Made in Abyss in a sense. |

| Seems to be quite the assumption that his sister ("sister"? a real one?) is dead all things considered. He somehow got moved into her body why couldn't she be somewhere else too? Would feel a waste to not have her turn up again in a new body of her own. Definitely going to have an interesting story with the man-eaters and this mysterious facility. I have high hopes for this anime, better not collapse in on itself. |

| The extend, way faster than i expect and its sure twist me up xd... Backstory with the connection of the hint about Kiruko killed her own brother at the kart racing. Understandable. But still something does not add up. Like the gunshot might be a good clue, to transfer Haruki conciousness to his sister body? Because his half eaten body by the man-eater might be the cause to the transfer. Haruki, his soul, somehow absorb his own sister and took over the body himself, and the doc help it to happened fast. Perhaps... Back to the far place where weird kids doing their weird things. You sure real babies have no face? What if you actually the one that create such a babies? I mean, the mutant man-eater one. I dunno. So expect more extend of those thing at the next episode, i guess... |

| Ohhhhh boy, this episode was like getting hit with a Muda Muda finisher from start to finish. So many things got thrown at us, each other more interesting than the last. This is such a great build-up on top of the past two episodes' mysteries. That old doctor is definitely on some shady shit, I wonder, was it his idea to do the brain transplant as both of them were dying and he had to save the one with the most chances of surviving, or did the sister bg the doctor to do it? Also, Robin disappeared right when it mattered most. Some many entangled plot threads that I can't watch unfold. I've been having this weird familiar feeling about the environment of this show, something about it reminds me of the post-apocalyptic world of the Metro game franchise. |
