I have recently gotten into the habit of manga collecting. Here's my collection so far I can't buy full volumes of some series like One piece because I'm a broke college student. |

| It is increasing and decreasing. I plan to reduce the number of books by about 50 during this week. Photos and other information can be found on my profile page, if you are interested. | I live in a tiny house with basically no space to stare too many books, so all I own is two volumes of jujutsu kaisen. I must admit I am quite proud of owning any physical copies of the manga, I'm hoping to collect other series as well. |

 I own a copy of "Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!" but I don't know where it is. It might be under my bed with all my other books in the storage bags that I can't be bothered to look through right now, but for sure in those storage bags are the special edition "Death Note" and "Vampire Knight" volumes that I've had for a long while (neither of them are even a manga from the actual series, just some bonus book that got released with extra information and I'm not sure I've actually even read them), and I have one of the mangas from "Children of the Sea" that I got spur-of-the-moment from the grocery store when I didn't even know what was going on, but the pictures looked cool so I got it. I've also had it for a long while. Hopefully there's not any other manga volumes that I own that I'm spacing out on. (I also used to own this "Pokemon" manga but gave that away to Goodwill.) Also, I have interest stacks dedicated to keeping track of manga that I possibly want to buy. Most of the manga that I currently have (that are featured in the photo above) I got in the past year since I can now afford to spend money on manga and of course, I'm going to buy more. My current plan is to buy some more mangas in the summer because all the volumes of "Kakeochi Girl" will be finally out in English and the first and second omnibus volumes of "Homunculus" are going to be released. I'm eyeing "Fire Punch," "Blue Flag," or "Watashi no Shounen" as additional purchases while I'm at it. Those series have been completely translated but since each will require buying multiple volumes I'll have to pick and choose and then get the others at a later time. ("Slam Dunk" has my interest primarily because I like the Japanese manga covers, but it's unlikely that I'll buy that anytime soon since then I wouldn't be able to read them. It's unfortunate that I'm not a fan of how the official English copies look...) |
