So while it definitely wasn’t a “fight” this was still better than I thought it would be, any member of Class A couldn’t stop Midoriya alone but using teamwork and heartfelt words did eventually stop him, it probably also helps that he was really exhausted and hungry lol. I also appreciate how almost every member of the class helped in one way or another, it was a huge collaborative effort to get this man to slow down.

The two that hit particularly hard were Iida and Bakugo, they were the two that really got to Midoriya with their actions and words, and based on the next episode’s title Uraraka is gonna get her time to shine too, she’ll probably be the one to truly bring Midoriya back to his senses since it seemed at the end of this one he was in a bad state. I also loved how Kaminari just told Midoriya to take a bath lol, it’s fitting for him but it also makes sense since that’s something Midoriya probably hasn’t done in a long time. And a reveal I wasn’t expecting at all, Thirteen’s face lol, she has very cool hair and I’m mad we didn’t get to see it sooner.

One of the most emotional episodes of the entire series. Class 1A mission to bring Deku home is a cornerstone of this part of the story. Deku path of self sacrifice has lead him here to a point where he feels the need to isolate and handle everything personally. Pushing away those closest to him in an effort to protect them, now they long for him to return and not torture himself this way anymore. I loved seeing everyone whom had something to say to Deku contributing. In a short time Deku has helped many of his classmates even with things that seemed trivial meant so much.

All building up as more significant people to Deku like Todoroki and Iida said their piece. How he's directly helped them go down better paths to now return the favor. Todoroki is right saying this is exactly what All For One wants for Deku to run himself into the ground alone and tired. All of them not wanting Deku protection but just to stand beside him while he fights these villains. The second One For All user saying Deku needs exactly that, people to walk at his same pace that can help. Iida reaching out his hand the same way Deku did his own way back when got me teary eyed. Its such a great callback and something I love when a story can turn previous moments on their head for new uses. Great looking sequence as Iida, Bakugo and Uraraka all works together to finally grab Deku.

The culmination leading to Bakugo apology. A perfect moment in the series. The character relationship between Deku and Bakugo has been at the forefront of the story for a long time and has been through many changes. This being the latest one made me so happy. I cried as Bakugo explained how he'd been feeling all this time. Thinking of himself as inferior to Deku and always losing to him so that's why he bullied Deku. How Bakugo was picking on Deku to push him away because he kept feeling overstepped. Bakugo calling him Izuku instead of Deku or nerd was the pinnacle. Bakugo and Deku are now on an even playing field with each other. Deku hasn't done anything wrong and should come back. No matter what these protesters say he has a place here.

This did feel like Deku versus all of his classmates, although it was Deku trying his best to escape while the other did what they could to capture him with their quirks and voices, trying to encourage Deku to reconsider and come back to UA.

Then, You Say Run started playing and things got really epic! With the combined efforts of Mina, Momo, Shoto, Bakugo and Ochako, all of them got Iida to the point where he was going at an insane speed to catch up to Deku and he bloody well succeeded at it, too!

After finally capturing Deku, Bakugo had a heart-to-heart with him. Not only did he apologise for all of the bullying that he did, but he finally called Deku by his first name, Izuku. Regardless of what you might think about Bakugo, it's hard to deny how much he has developed as a character. He's very different to what he was back in the first season. =)

The first barrier might have been overcome, but the hard work will only continue to get harder. After bringing Deku back to a fortified UA High, the civilians taking refuge there all gathered together to shout their displeasure of seeing Deku, shouting at him to leave.

With a brilliant question about who is there to protect the hero, it's Ochako's turn to take the lime light. I look forward to seeing what she does in the next episode.

man oh man. people are really saying this episode was good? it was basically just a recap episode of all the times Midoriya helped the others in class 1A. It did have Bakugo apologizing, which was unexpected, but this certainly was not a very entertaining episode.

Fantastic episode. I really felt akl the emotions here which I haven't for a long time in mha. If the animation was on the same level as the older seasons this would've easily been a top 3 episode in the entire series for me. To be clear, the animation wasn't bad this episode, they just didn't pop off with it which I would expect with such a heavily emotion centered fight. Still though, solid 9/10 episode and my favourite episode since season 4 probably.

Loved it! Didnt fully understand the ending but I got some lock down sqeepig pig vibes with isolating people into shelters. Thank god for class A, able to reach out and save MC while all his power is driving them away. Epic eps. Loved the colouring too.

Man, i have been crying through this whole episode. When they played You say run I teared up, plus bakugo's apology and Iida's line. This episode was full of touching moments. Great to see Bakugo's character maturing even further. Can't wait for the next episode.

I like it, Ive never met anyone who would refer to themselves in the third person and excuse themselves. This is most certianly a horror I have aowken to. I just watched re/mind on Netflix. I am fully preparded. What curse do you have for me

Class came together and captured Deku. To me the people who really got to shine were Iida and Bakugo. Iida used his burst technique to not only save a lost child, but challenge and beat his friend in a contest of speed. He took Deku's words to heart and used it against Deku's current actions. Bakugo finally said sorry after all his bullshit. Does that make up for everything he's done, absolutely not. But the fact that Bakugo is actually sorry and articulated so well on why he hated Deku is a step in the right direction.

It looks like next week were Uruaka's going to shine.

This was a great way to end My Hero Academia! Everything after this point is trash, and should not be considered cannon. I'm going to finish this season up, but thats it for me. I know some of you will be waiting on season 7, but dont get your hopes up. Horikoshi just starts throwing out random crap after this to see if it will stick. Not worth the paper its printed on, or the ink to draw it.

This is character development! Bakugou recognized his mistake and how he treated Izuku in the past. Apologizing and calling by the first name is everything we wanted from him. I am very satisfied with the animation. Emotional and powerful episode. Excited for next week :D Someone is gonna shine next episode and I'm here for it!

It was emotional seeing Deku have to break away from his classmates attempt to get him back, and the Studio really delivered with the animation and soundtrack side of things. For a few of the classmates, I honestly couldn't care too much but Todoroki, Iida and of course Bakugou's pleas hit quite hard. About time Bakugou apologised for his treatment of Deku, it must be said.

Urahara-chan's comment of "If heroes are in danger though, who are to save them?" was so perfectly placed this episode, it left me speechless. I'm looking forward to seeing how they'll handle the next part.

This was the best mha episode (imo) they brought back you say run and might+U, everyone’s fighting to get deku back, they fought to support him and we get bakugo character development. This was what I never knew I wanted. And as a plus we finally got to see what thirteen looked like

I remember thinking this part was rushed in the manga but this episode was pretty much perfect imo. Adding "You say run" as just the right time is what did it.
