| Honestly, if I was going to quit anime it probably already would have happened. I already like watching old stuff so even if the trends change for the worse I won't run out of things to watch. I know that even if I'm presented with something I know is more entertaining I'm already far enough into anime that it both feels more comforting and also feels like the right thing to spend my time on. I've tried giving up anime before and it didn't work. |

| i don't think anything can make me straight up quit except death. i would watch it less, if there were more animations like castlevania or arcane though. the main reason i watch anime is because i like "animation" as a medium a lot. |

| I have stopped watching anime after reading bit too much manga, but I still enjoy it, I just watch it less than before. What will make me quit amine and manga? Probably running out of things to watch/read. Or I'll get bored of seeing it and decide to move on and see in as some teenage phase. |

| Right now I can't think of any reason to quit watching anime, there are times I get bored after watching a lot and rest for a few months, but quitting might not happen any time soon. |

| I'm already 90% burned out, and I didn't even complete 100 shows yet. I'll probably stop once I've watched all the 'popular' shows, like Full Metal Alchemist/JoJo etc, shows considered good and whatnot. I'm shifting more and more towards manga, also I'm starting to prefer TV series and movies more than anime, so there's that. |
| historically relationships and moving in with somebody usually made me drop most of my internet hobbies and obsessively focus on the relationship, i just do be like this; thats why i kind of want to live alone; if i find myself in a monogamic relationship again, theyd have to accept that id want to have my own apt, and id just come over for a week, then go back to my place for some time etc; its just even somebodys presence would impact me getting into watching anime because of my intrusive thoughts, like i wouldnt be able to focus on it if they were around lol, thats why my personal office room wouldnt be enough other than that, i hope that never happens, but if i end up not having time to do it; rn im only doing university, and i want to become a professor in the future; if this takes up too much of my time and attention id most likely drop my hobbies, which is anime and manga and i feel like thats impossible, especially if u take into account manga as well, but if i kind of run out of gay shit to watch and read, and i get bored of rewatching my favorite old gay shit u know, like if theres nothing else, i guess itll be over, but im quite positive there will be more gay shit in the future, hopefully |

| If: 1. All new anime just sucked (and somehow I could know that). 2. I watched all completed anime I was interested in. The first point is unlikely, but not impossible, and the second would take so long that wouldn't really have much to complain about if I got years worth of enjoyment out of this hobby. Also, there's rewatching for always more anime to watch. |
