| Gender specific laws need to be abolished. If you want true equality, make laws and their applications gender neutral. If you are looking for superiority, then don't complain if one group seizes power, dominates the other, then relents only for the tormented group to have their way with their tormentor group. | Eh, I'm pretty sure that's at least partly a bait, but the people you meet on MAL and in online communities do not always accurately represent the views of the average person. The guys who spend too much time online (and you are therefore more likely to meet in places like MAL) are probably people who are struggling to find meaningful relationships in their life and who have relatively poor social life and social skills. They turn to the online space as a form of escapism. Unfortunately, some assholes often take advantage of these desperate men by giving them bad advice and trying to direct their frustration towards women, blaming them for all their misfortunes. |
