| Wow. Amazing episode. This is by far one of my favorite anime series. I love this whole "earthquake" idea. I'm definitely looking forward to more and I agree with you; I have a feeling it's going to get emotional. It's only episode 2 and I felt the emotions bubbling up inside of me. I was so glad that they were able to find Yuuki. ;3 Can't wait till ep. 3! :D |
| Wow. Very early favorite so far of the new season. This series is exceeded only by Barefoot Gen in terms of sheer, "what the F is happening" sense of terror. I was really, really hoping for them to find Yuuki alive... And Mari is damned awesome. |

| I'm getting on the fritz with the main character. All of a sudden she had to break into "I'm 16 I'm angry at my parents" syndrome in the middle of a DISASTER. Is this really the time to get angsty? I mean she doesn't even have some concern that her parents could be dead? Admits the stressful homelife, you think she would be more worried. |

| Hmm. Writing was significantly worse than the first episode. Mari should have forced Mirai to leave the building - any reasonable adult would have. I also don't like sacrifice of realism for sensationalism (multiple last-second saves, as well as randomly finding Yuuki in an unlikely location). Hope the next episode is back up to snuff. |
| That seemed like a really realistic depiction of an earthquake...I rather liked this episode and can't wait to see what happens on their way home! I am glad I don't live in an earthquake prone area... |

| I have heard that this series is realistic, but I have seen little evidence of it. While I do believe the animation of the earthquake and the damages it caused were simulated well, the reactions of the people and the government were not. And Mirai is still a spoiled brat who won't listen to what people tell her. Finding Yuuki was a complete fluke. Otherwise a good episode. |

| This series looks promising, this episode in particular was a bit exaggerated. I wonder if the parents are still alive? I suspect that the whole series will be the return home through all the chaos. We'll see. |

| Exaggerated? you should see how horrible earthquake is. and the reaction of the people? have you ever saw their reaction i mean real people? the one who lost their precious one, and their living? This show is not only simply to simulated if the earthquake would happened in Tokyo, but also to snap human, about how nature can be cruel, and more caring to others. Yesterday i just felt 7.34 magnitude of earthquake from neighboring town 142 km from my town the source is 35 km under the sea, thank god tsunami didn't happened, and to think 8.0 magnitude happening in my town..human must be prepared for the worst. That's why i almost cried when Mirai desperately looking for Yuuki, to think that your precious person would suddenly gone. |

Somehow this show gives a sort of Higashi no Eden aura. Top notch animation, interesting backstory, great voiceacting. Doesn't help that it's only 11 episodes as well. I have really high hopes for this show! ^_^ ^this sums it up the character animation was also better this episode ^_^ |
| The earthquake was terrible. Let's see fires, people bleeding, a car ramming into something, structure collapse, water leaks and chances of being crushed. Glad that Yuuki was saved but Mirai looked pitiful. Hina looks cute. Maria is a great help. |

| To begin with, if I were Mirai I would be totally freaked out after sending a text that says "the world would just break." Well, I guess it is bound to happen considering how many people live in Japan. Also, I'm surprised at how the women stayed with her even though Mirai kept running off like a reckless idiot. Its a good thing neither of them got injured though. After watching the first couple of episodes, I have no idea where this series is going. Now that the big 8.0 quake has already happened, they only have to worry about finding their family and the aftershocks; I'm curious to how they will stretch that to last the rest of the episodes. |

| First half basically had me pissed at Mirai based on her actions. I could have went along with all the emotions and story while they were sitting down but thinking about Mirai just had me thinking about other things irrelevant to this story. |
