You must have some cliches which you never get tired of despite already have seen it numerous times....

For me, I've never got tired of former main antagonist turns into MC's friend cliche, it's always interesting to see ^.^

What about yours? :)

There's a lot, and one of them is embarrassing scenes get misunderstood when someone walks in.

I absolutely love it when the two main characters secretly love each other but don't want to admit it and then go through all sorts of embarrassingly awkward moments, like their hands touching, holding one umbrella together, or being stuck in the locker room together, etc. And then finally confess in the last episode. It gets me every time.

Tsundere and yandere characters in conflict. I find it very hilarious.

Gap moe.
Definition: Gap Moe' is a term often used in reference to fictional characters to describe when said character does something completely contradictory to what their usual habits/personality/appearance dictates. Usually this contradiction is seen by others as charming or likeable.

E.g. Shalltear Bloodfallen from Overlord who despite looking like a innocent loli with a complex about her small chest is actually extremely sexually depraved as that's what her creator made her to be (Though the anime doesn't show it probably due to ratings issues)

Schrödinger from Hellsing. Evil looking smirk despite being the good guy as evidenced by that armband on his arm. Schrödinger did nothing wrong.

Well, I don't really like any cliches purely because of the nature of that word.

but the protagonist getting a power up with (insert emotion or reason) and turning the fight around has the highest potential to be great imo

but even with that, most of the time I don't like it

Confessions or really heartbreaking moments between two characters happening outside, in the rain. When they drop their umbrellas or move out from underneath the overhang where they were standing before, because their feelings got the better of them. It just adds so much more to the emotions of the characters in the moment, for some reason. I love it every time.

It has to be this one:
The main character walking around a firework festival with the heroine with the girl in yukata/kimono. Then, her sandals either snap or her feet hurt from wearing the sandals. The main character offers to give her a piggy-back, while she refuses, the main character proceeds to carry on anyway.

That's a good cliche.

I was going to say this but senpai beat me to it, unfortunately.  Lucky pervery moment is every ecchi harem viewer's favourite.

When warring or for some reason separated characters eventually find common ground and become friends or even a couple. I've always liked relationships that started out as feuds but ended up as collaborations or even more. Perhaps because I myself often fell into this.

This cliché appears in many, if not all forms of story telling; even so, no matter how many times I see it, when a "bad" character joins the "good guys" AND has a well-written character arc, I love it.

I also like when this happens, even if I don't like the song or show itself that much. Going off this idea (and I know it's cheesy as hell, but that's the point of this thread), if the show/movie/etc. says its title in the story in a compelling way, GOD that is exciting.
