| it definitely isn't Kakushigoto. What a shitty ending. But even if you choose to look at it with rose tinted glasses and ignore it's faults, it's really out of it's league compared to the others. |

| Definitely Natsume Yuujinchou. I love yokai themed anime. Also, Nyanko-sensei is one of the funniest anime characters of all time. Lol. |

| Despite the ending of Kakushigoto, I pick it. It's very hard to binge the other three, I've tried. Too emotional. Kakushigoto I was able to happily watch in a day and I've watched multiple times since. For me a good anime is one that you'll happily watch over and over. |

| They are so different that's hard to compare them. But for me: Evangelion > Shinsekai Yori > Kakushigoto I have watched 4 episodes of Natsume Yuujinchou, I enjoyed those episodes, but I had some problems with my PC and I lost all episodes, I had to finish it someday. |

| Natsume, because in its core it's a mystery show, its mythology is quite original, also the atmosphere is somehow weird and bittersweet. |

| Out of these? Evangelion, only because the composer Shiro Sagisu is there who made soundtracks for Bleach, and in Evangelion you can hear that style, those choirs and that goated orchestra. The truth is that I haven't seen yet the 3 others title so I have nothing else to choose |

Evangelion I just finished the rewatch and I didn't expect to still enjoy it, after hating the Rebuilds and constantly hearing here on AD that it's the worst piece of garbage ever conceived by humankind. Not a 10/10 anymore, but still quite up there among the psychological anime. 2. Natsume Yuujinchou One of the very best sountracks in anime. An episodic slice of life about supernatural investigations and sharing litte moments of happiness with family and friends (what I love the most). 3. Kakushigoto Pretty good childcare anime, and I love Kouji Kumeta's minimalist character design. 4. Shinsekai Yori The opposite of Evangelion: I liked it the first time, but the rewatch was painfully boring (= the source material is good, the problem is the execution). |

| Shinsekai yori: 1. Atmospheric 2. Setting is 3. Plot is compelling, gripping & engaging. 4.It has a satisfying ending. It's similar to "Mushishi" as well. |

| Eva is one of the worst anime I watched (I dropped on ep5) I did not watched the rest. So I can recommend you to look at the ceiling instead. You will be better off. |

| Natsume Yuujinchou, of course. It's my favorite anime so it really isn't even a fair choice for the others lol. I find the series calming and relaxing and if I've had the day from hell the series never fails to make me feel better after watching it. |

| Evangelion > Shinsekai Yori. Haven't seen the rest. Well i watched the latter 2 years ago and haven't touched it since so if i were to rewatch i'd defo pick that over Eva which i rewatched earlier this year and have pretty much grasped its essence now. As for which is better? Evangelion. It's just more original and revolutionary overall, the first of its kind. Shinsekai Yori is good but not at the same level. |
| Evangelion and Shinsekai Yori are two cour anime and probably not the best to binge. Natsume Yuuchinchou has like 5 or 6 seasons. This leaves Kakushigoto as your only option for what you are trying to do. But I realized you said you so uh I didn't watch Natsume, I watched Kakushigoto when it was airing, and out of the other two I watched Shinsekai Yori more quickly, and it is also the one I like the most, so it's that one for me. |
