| This ended way too fast man. What a good ending, I loved the animation when he dropped. I felt bad for Himeno when she started to think she was going to lose Aki. The little girl is obnoxious and whines way too much. and of course Power is back to being the annoying selfish asshole again. Hopefully the eternity devil will cry from pain >:) The ED wasn't that impressive this week. |

| I understand that there was probably nothing they could cut off, but the pacing is just horrendous. Somehow MAPPA turned non-stop action manga (which I've read in a single sitting, it was THIS GOOD) into a snoozefest. I can't believe we're STILL going to spend the next episode at the hotel. I think it would be for the best to animate Chainsaw Man in its entirety, all at once, this way you could cut stuff off, speed up some things and get a masterpiece at the end. Limiting yourself only to one season and certain amount of episodes automatically means that you'll have to stretch some events and you'll have to stop at a certain point because you still need enough material left for a season 2. |

The anime is basically an advertisement for the manga, so they better drag it so people can't wait to know what happens next and go buy the manga ;) Given the hype, Mappa is going to milk that cow till the last drop.
