| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- As expected, Wang Ben got a pretty bad wound from the exchange, but looks like it won't have too much of an affect on his status going forward. Man, quite a bit happened this week. Rinko vs Wang Ben was pretty fulfilling, albeit quick. And then Xin and his band of merry men change the tide of battle, only for it to get flipped right back on them. Now we've seen two of the Heavenly Generals in action. Xuan Feng is very calculated and relentless as a schemer, looks like FeiXin may close in on his unit next episode though. Mixed feelings on the whole smokescreen incident. Not sure how they were able to execute it so easily, but it still made for a very intense scene. Qiang Lei gets most badass moment this week for taking out those bell ringers. Had to lol at how they were all talking all stoic and unconcerned for the arrows falling everywhere around them. At least we saw one of the FeiXin members get hit, though I'm sure he's fine. |

Near the end when the arrows were falling like rain I too had to chuckle, especially at those falling between the "camera" (viewer) and the characters who acted like they were talking to one another at a social party :) I found this episode fairly enjoyable even if a little rushed, perhaps due to complexity of everything being depicted. The episode was also quite serious, I don't recall any humor or attempted humor, except for the odd laughter from the commander preparing to send out the 2nd Qin attack wave. There was one CGI scene where they showed Xin on a horse - it had me thinking back to season 1 and dreading more may be to come. Thankfully I either didn't notice any more similar shot or I was watching too intently to care. |

It is like that they know that their plot armor is too strong from some puny arrows. CGI was improved very much compared to the 1st season. The CGI is still ugly as ever, but they draw out most of the scene with main characters in this season, which I appreciated greatly. However, Kingdom's CGI is still pretty bad and outdated compare to CGI in other recent anime. There is that one current anime with battleships, and they CGI all their characters/ ships, but their CGI characters are mile ahead of Kingdom's. |

| Rinko vs Wang Ben! Nice fight. But those raining arrows are funny, I think. How I wish they had an armor or shield of some sort with them because it looks like you will surely be hit by those. I know others were already hit but it looks like they are just walking just fine under those raining arrows. But anyway, looking forward how Xin and the Feixin unit can manage this. |
| I am just bothered but it seems that in this particular episode, the voice of the characters are not in sync with the movement of the character's mouth. I'm just wondering if the problem is in my end or the video itself. Do you guys also experienced it? I downloaded the A-destiny sub vid. It's really bothering me. |

I really laughed when I see them talk/discuss normally with all those falling arrows. But it's really still ridiculous though that there are only one from feixin unit that get hit. And like someone said too, his probably going to be alright. Still, an epic episode. 5/5 |

| Oh wow, now they have to deal with a brains on the enemy side. Here and I thought Lun was the main threat. Anyways, seems like Qiang figured it out. Nice. |

| I dont see how theyre getting rid of the chariots easily but for the archers they could just listen to the pattern of the gongs around them and then steal them. Then send some mounted units to some place else in the smokescreen where no units are and start mimicking the pattern. |

| the only thing bothered me was the arrows shower. i mean, they even had that viewer effect like the arrows are reaching the characters that talking. but never the less, its like normal rain to them. it was super lol. another thing bothering was that general sending the second formation telling shin to be careful because generals are being targeted. it almost sound like he wanted shin to be killed lol. either than that, awesome episode. though i think my tiredness effecting my enjoyment, so i should probably got to sleep lol. oh and i will say that because i can, but really want to see zheng taking care of lu-buewi and his mother case. |
| Gtfo of the smoke that's the only way. Pick a direction and head towards that and don't stop. Or it's a genius/ridiculous idea that would get them out of that situation lol yeah definitely that. |
