DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I like how realistic this show takes its war elements including the mountain defense and using natural territory as a strategy. A lot of bodies still feel with the rain of arrows though. Just seems like this war will have a toll regardless where they are. |

| Ordo character reminds me strongly of Endeavor and also their awkward relationship with their son's. Lot of respect to General Karin. With fancy elephants in her command, I was sure her elite guards were top notch bodyguards. I'm looking forward to Yi Xiang progress, I'm sure this dude going to be Shin rival enemy in the future. Unless general Teng kills him right here. I have to mention that Teng is always looking fabulous using his sword technique. lol |

| Lots of cool battles happening in the last few episodes. An unexpected, but not unwelcome surprise of a badass female general in this war (non-manga reader here). Can't wait to see how she further demonstrates her power in battle. |

| not the most epic episode but much more tactical and story episode, kingdom just have variety of ideas. and always at these back to corner situations i wonder what kind of kingdom's twists gonna be. |

| Chaos out there, so much is happening at the same time. Ou Sen managed to slay the elite mountain troups and got Ordo back to the old base. They won't be able to do anything at the left side for now but the right is getting fucked in the ass. Ka Rin's penetrating the front while Tou is fighting that one Chu commander. The OST is lit though. |

| Kinda ridiculous to complain about it now given that it always happend, but by now, half the episode consist of this: They constantly stand around and talk. Heck, sometimes half an army is gone before anyone actually moves. And it's not that they don't know whats going on, they even talk about it. "The enemy is approaching, another minute or two they'll hit our army." "I see them, and i know just what to do" "They've hit the first line, our soldiers are slowing them down tremendously but the enemy is slowly gaining ground." "So we really need to get going now, i see ". "They've overrun the first 10 rows, are we going to do something or not" "We have to do something for sure, right now, i'm totally with you, but let me first talk about how bad exactly it is" "The enemy has overcome another 20 rows" "That hurts, but i didn't finish explaining whats going on" "They are almost through". Based on the speed of the enemy mentioned they take several minutes to actually do something despite the first reaction being "we are going to do [THING]". On the other hand the skills of the generals suffer from power creep. Wa Lin notices that they are getting shot at while looking in the other direction, in the middle of the a fight, has time to address her subordinate by name, wait for his reply, tell him to look behind, him to actually do so and then deflect/dodge the arrow. She must have noticed it before the archer even took aim for there to be enough time. Or we assume extreme range, various sources give up to 300 meters for crossbows. At a slow speed of ~50 meters per second which is probably totally inaccurate for a crossbow capable of shooting 300 meters, the whole thing from noticing until the arrow was blocked had to happen in six seconds. And of course, how would one notice an arrow 300 meters out when it barely left the bow/crossbow? They could at least try to make it believable... |
