| It's hard to write anything worthwhile since this was so goddamned overhyped and considering this thread already has 17 pages you probably overanalyze the episode from top to bottom. With all that, I kinda feel that the first episode was just ok. There is nothing to complain about. Also, there was nothing that blew me away. Since I didn't read manga I can't compere it to adaptations. I guess I'll go episode from episode and make final judgement at the end. I will say one thing though. I am so fucking glad they didn't shy away from the gore. |

| This was underwhelming for what I was expecting. People had been hyping the anime for months like Redditors did cyberpunk (but Redditors have too high a standard), but it doesn’t feel too special. The manga was special, this anime has no sparkle. |
