Interesting how those skeletons have the brand that Guts eventually gets. I'm assuming that emperor, who may be the Skull Knight, sacrificed some people. Well, it looks like they found Griffith.

I would be willing to bet that Skull Knight is Gaiseric. Seems to make the most sense right now, and it'd make for interesting development.

I completely forgot those brands on the skeletons were the same as Guts' brand... or the fact Guts had a brand at all. It's been a long time since this, uh... flashback, if it could be called that, began.

That Skull Knight must've been the king in that fairy tale and the four angels must've been the Godhand!

Holy shit that Skull Knight was a thousand year old king of a destroyed city after all! I've witnessed the Golden Age arc twice but I just found out about this.

With the Midland family told to bear Gaiseric's blood, no wonder the King was so pissed off. With no blood relatives left it's the end of the 100% Millennial bloodline.

I noticed that Miura is starting to add a lot more facial expressions to the characters, which I appreciate.

The skeletons had the same mark as Guts had on his neck!!!

Also the Supreme king Gaiseric seemed like he was the skull knight who met Guts before and Rickert in just previous chapter

Also Griffith's panel at the end looks heartbreaking ;___;

Extremeren interesting chapter!
The story of the King and the Gods makes it look like they are supposed to be the Skull Knight and the God hand, yet this could also only be half of the truth since Charlotte learned of this in her history classes. It also could be a Red Hering......And the marks of the Brand on those skeletons......This is to suspicious...
It feels like the roles were reversed and now the Angles are the bad guys and the Skull Knight wants to correct his mistakes??!?! hmmmmmm.........
Griffith.....oh boy

Everything told by Princess Charlotte was quite interesting. But I don't think that's the whole story... The setting in the place was awesome.
Those marks...
And gosh, is that Griffith?

So the Skull Knight could be the ancient king of "Death". With the four angels meeting him...I think it's definitely a strong possibility! Also, hopefully Griffiths not insane

Those marks on all the skeletons at the bottom. I'm really curious in what circumstances were they all sacrificed.
